My husband and I stayed here for 5 days over New Years. Our room was very clean and cute (though sparse). The staff was sweet and tried to be helpful though sometimes it was hard to make our desires understood. The Agua Alegre was a great low-budget option. My room (#19) was clean, large and airy, as was the private bath. The rooms are basic: no TV, no phone, no A/C (they do have ceiling fans).
