Rooms are basic, toilet/shower is small enough. the rooftop pool is ok, nothing special. The location however is excellent and the staff were helpful. Can be noisy at night, could hear plenty of doors closing and people coming and going all night, as well as the outside noise.

We stayed for four nights, everything was great; clean rooms, location, super friendly staff. Equipped kitchens on each floor, rooftop pool...We were able to store our luggage before check in and after check out. We would recommend it and stay there again.

The room exceeded expectations for the price and what we had read in the reviews. The room is not very big but they were very efficient and creative in their use of the space. Was a great location, (5 minute walk to metro for all the sights), 10/15 minute walk to Las Ramblas. The staff were extremely helpful with helping... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hostel is in a good location within walking distance to all major attractions, and a few good restaurants in the area. 15 min walk from the airport bus stop once you get off. Unfortunately my room was opposite a bar so very loud, I asked to be moved but could not,... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a little less than a week. It exceeded my expectations. The staff was very nice and the room and bathroom were good enough for us. The wifi didn't work in our room, but that was a small issue to me as we were barely in the room and mainly out exploring Barcelona. Location... More

This is a great little hidden gem right in the heart of Barcelona. Cheap and cheerful. Staff very nice and helpful and rooms were clean. Use of a kitchen on each floor is so handy. Would highly recommend and will be back again!!

I rated this hotel as very good for the following reasons: 1) Location: 5 minutes walk from Plaza de Espana and about 10-12 minutes to Las Ramblas (depending on how fast you walk), 5 minutes to a metro station, around the corner from a lively street with restaurants full of locals. 2) nice and helpful staff. Our standard double room... More

Nice and modern budget hotel. Rooms are small but clean, bed was comfortable, and hotel very quiet. Location of the place is great, lots of tapas bars and cafes around. Tube station just a few minutes walk

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
