We visited last week. The hotel is good but not 4*. Location is really good 2 mins to nearest metro at universtat. We just used hotel to sleep so can't comment about restaurant or breakfast. Beware pool is not available in April was being filled with water during our visit. Also it was very hot during our visit but they... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for the Easter weekend and a few days after and had a pleasant stay. The double room we had was small but fine for what we needed. The window faced out into a plain courtyard/wall, which wasn't the best view but was quiet and away from the main street at the front of the... More

Super friendly staff. Let me check in early. I got there at 7 am and had no problem with early check in. They let me borrow an outlet converter free of charge. Just all around great staff! Not a real complaint, but it was slightly odd to not have the phone charger by the bed. I would totally recommend to... More

If you want a quiet room they'll put you facing the Courtyard. The sun beats all day on those windows. Even if you draw the curtains it get very hot in the rooms. They turn off the entire hotel's A/C in the winter so forget about that to cool off. Opening a window seems like a good idea, right? It... More

Very friendly staff who were helpful however room was very small and not as expected but when you are in the centre of Barcelona you barely spend time at your hotel anyway! TV had no English channels and was unable to put English subtitles on so that was a negative. The hotel is near the centre and right near the... More

Decent location and the small rooftop pool was good. Air con and staff were OK, but what really lets this place down is the hard uncomfortable beds! The Sunotel Club Central is only up the road and we felt the beds there were better so would recommend there more (our friends were staying there, bit of a mix up at... More

Do not go for the Lastminute.com 4* Top Secret Hotel with a rooftop pool. No frills clean very basic hotel. Only standard double/twin rooms. You can't upgrade even if you wanted to pay more. For £40 a night don't expect too much.

This was through a Groupon deal to see Barcelona play football at the Camp Nou, and two night stay over he weekend. From the list of hotels provided, I chose this one due to previous reviews, and its easy access to and from the Airport by the AeroBus, Having stayed there, I'm glad I did choose this one. The AeroBus... More

To put frankly, I wouldn't really recommend staying here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shower worked well and there was adjustable air conditioning in each room. Free wifi which worked very well. However, there were a lot of negatives - decidedly too many for how much we paid per night. The walls were as thin as rice... More

We stayed for a long weekend in late January, the hotel is in a very good location, and for the price we couldn't have asked for more. Friendly staff, nice clean rooms, good housekeeping and nothing was to much trouble. It also has excellent parking, but not for big cars. Its not four star, but its not crap either. if... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
