I stayed here during a quick two-day recreational trip to Barcelona. I was traveling solo and really only planned to sleep in the room and store my baggage, so It had exactly what I was looking for: A clean bed (fairly small, but adequate), a private shower, and proximity to Las Ramblas and the surrounding areas. The hotel is on... More

The staff at the residence were all very friendly and happy to help. Great location in central Barcelona only 3 minutes walk from Las Ramblas and just around the corner from MACBA. The area in which the residence is located felt safe and there were always people around, however it wasn't too loud at night and the room was always... More

I stayed here for four days on business. The rooms are as basic as I've ever seen. The location and pleasant staff are excellent, but the rooms are tiny. The immediate area around the hotel is run down and there are a lot of drug addicts and prostitutes in the area. In saying that, I felt relatively safe and was... More

The hotel is in touristic city area. The hotel's street is crossing Rambla street. The subway is less than 10 minutes walk. Room has all the elementary things, very basic, but enough. The room is small ( I was in a single room).Hotel has breakfast room. Breakfast is satisfactory, but also basic. Free wifi in rooms and everywhere in hotel,... More

I've been returning to this place for 10 years now, and I would definitely recommend it. It is cheap, and it is in a great position: it's clean and has wifi and a nice breakfast included. At least for me these are the most important things. I started to use this hotel when El Raval was a quite more dodgy... More

This is October 4th, I have been traveling since August 29th, staying in hotels from Denmark on down to Spain. This is the worse hotel I have been in and I even stayed in a pension in Prague. The bed was hard and lumpy. I could not work the blinds to cut out the morning light, finally, this morning the... More

We stayed in two rooms for two nights and found the hotel to be in a good location very close to Las Ramblas on a small but busy multi-cultural side street. It is a good location for walking to see this part of Barcelona; it is possible to walk to the beach, although it is about a 30 minute walk.... More

I stayed at the residence for a long weekend. The room was very basic, but clean and cheap, and in a superb location, only minutes from Las Ramblas. Breakfast is basic but perfectly fine, staff are very friendly and helpful. A great base when you don't want to break the bank but want somewhere comfortable and central to stay.

I stayed 11 nights at the Residencia. The rooms are basic, but very clean and quite cheap. I paid about 60 euros per night. The rooms are serviced daily and have air conditioning. Breakfast is also basic, but since eating late at night is the norm in Barcelona I didn't feel the need for breakfast next morning. The location is... More
