It was my first time staying in a city, so I was a bit nervous, especially after reading some reviews about Barcelona. However me and my boyfriend had a fantastic few days there. When we arrived in Barcelona, we were dropped off at the end of street by the taxi driver, (a few hours before check in time), make sure... More

This is a must as you are facing a very busy street. The aprtment is compact, galley kitchen with all necessary pots and pans and plates etc...Not that you really spend much time in the kitchen as you have all of the food on... I spent five days at this apartment with my wife, and my brother and sister in law. I'd heard good and bad things about the company so I called them up to investigate before booking. They made the pros and cons pretty clear to me - good value for an excellent location, no breakfast or business services but a good... More

I went to Barcelona in 2002, and this time round I was amazed how the prices have shot up. I was really surprised at how reasonable the apartment was, when I saw how expensive everything else had gotten. I took my husband and 3 children this time, and I really have to say I was delighted with the accommodation. It... More

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
