The rooms are ok, the small beds are not a problem for me but my friend is tall...... Nigth desk manager was very rude, unhelpful. the beds are close to the toilets and they are not particularly clean. the wifi is ok but you should ask about large groups at the same time. It is a problem!

Where do I start? We walk in to check in and there was a very long line so we sat down for a bit. Apparently someone made the guy at reception really mad and he went off! Started yelling and telling the girl it is what it is leave if you don't like it. We asked a question before checking... More

I was surprised by the great organization at the hostel. Is a macro hostel with incredible facilities, swimming, gym, etc... And at the same time is very calm and quiet. We had wifi very fast and everywhere in the hostel, even in the great roof top.

It is very nice when after long day of walk throw city you can spend some time near the see on beach (What I like the most on vacation, to rest after long walks.) Which is not case in Barcelona. I set on hill with grass, to read the papers, someone took my bag with documents and all my belongs... More

Excellent staff, particularly Dani at the front desk. After an hour of searching for sold out tickets to the Alhambra in Granada, he successfully located two tickets out of absolutely nowhere through a Spanish website. He also let us print out all of our travel documents. Definitely coming back here. Also, the place is clean and quiet!

The staff there is among the unfriendliest i've ever seen. If you want to feel welcome and comfortable somewhere, definitely don't go here. Also the rooms are equipped very poorly and it is dirty. The sheets had stains and the room was never cleaned in a whole week. Definitely many better options around.

Great rooms, great location, very very helpful staff, beautiful view from the terrace. I slept for a week in Bcnsporthostels in 6 dorm girls room and it was awesome because our room has a private bathroom. I felt safe in this hostel. In the rooms there are a very big lockers where you can leave your suitcase inside and if... More

I went on a school trip with my classmates and we stayed at this hostel. Despite the gym,the pool and all the services that it offers (not for free, obviously ...),the hostel can't be considered a good place to stay. Not at all. The rooms are tiny and very very sad (the only colours are the white of the walls and... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
