First off, the value for the price is really fantastic. I got three nights for 23 euros in a hostel very close to the city centre in one of the most visited cities in the world. This is a really great price. The hostel is clean, great location, nice staff, and a cute restaurant in the same building. There were... More

I can't say enough good things about this place.. It was shiny, clean and spacious, has a lot of common areas, and a gym next door with a "Nostrum" restaurant that kinda reminded me of Trader Joe's, offering various healthy prepared dishes as well as coffee & goodies on the cheap. Most items were 2€! The best thing about this... More

We stayed at this hostel when it first opened or within the first few weeks of it opening which was interesting to say the least. Firstly the staff we great, they were very friendly and approachable and had a great local knowledge and tips of Barcelona. However the manhor downfall is that the hostel had NO kitchen facilities, no plates,... More

First let me say, it's a great facility, the staff, food, wifi were perfect. However, I stayed in a mixed 12 dorm room, the day I checked in was perfect except I felt uncomfortable in the room. I left the next morning to go site seeing, came back hours later to find my suitcase with all my items in it... More

Excellent for a family on a budget. Kids loved the chill out area and the android PCs. Room was not what you would call spacious, but was ok for our short break and it had its own toilet and shower. Short walk to the metro from where you can travel the city.

A backpackers must when deciding where to stay in Barcelona. The 4 of us stayed here for three nights, we all wish it would have been longer. Great rooms with comfortable bed and pillows. Facilities were clean and of a high standard for a backpackers. They have great addition facilities with all kind of sports. With such a big hostel... More

We stayed three days in the bcnsportshostels in a 6 dorm (16.40€ per person/night) It was clean, not too small and quiet. The commons areas are nicely decorated. The staff is really kind and helpful. You can park your car in a really close and safe parking but it's quite expensive (45 euros/3 days). If your are tired after a... More

I went to Barcelona last week. I loved that place and my stay in the hostel was the best choice I had made. As the hostel was in center I was able to walk to la Sagrada Familia, the Gracia neighborhood… and to Plaça de Catalunya. The design is really nice, sport oriented with big areas.. Nice solarium. Rooms very... More

I was travelling through Spain with my boyfriend in July and August 2014. We've stayed in this hostel for 3 nights. The design is really nice, sport oriented obviously! The beds were confortable, and the A/C was OK during our stay. However, you need to know that it stops automatically when you open the door or the window. We had... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
