For 30 Euros it was a little too expensive. The room was clean and an average size for 8 people, but it got ridiculously hot at night- the AC would shut off and leak after 15 min. Location was decent, downtown with a 20 minute walk to the beach. Workout facility was nice, but cost an additional 3 Euros to... More

Due to circumstances we had to book this hostel last minute. Despite our concerns about staying with a young family with children of 6, 8 and 11 it's been absolutely great!! We checked in, received our sheets to put on the beds (the fitted ones being particularly hard!) and received our secure swipe keys. Reception were nice and helpful and... More

I booked a room for two nights, however had to check out for 4 hours on my second day, when I returned to my room the staff had actually performed the checkout for me by putting my belongings in a bin bag until the room change was performed. Very dirty, almost everything is an extra charge, just generally not impressed... More

Nice rooms with a really nice shower, and a nice chill area also. The atmosfere is great but I really miss the commons areas with pooltable, ping-pong table etc. Feels strange that they have the name sporthostels but actually no sports or games you can find there. But I still would come back because of the clean rooms and they... More

Very good hostel, modern, good organisation, nice rooms. Safe. The only thing that we were surprised was: We went partying the last night before the checkout (until 5 am). So we didn't hear the alarm clock to checkout until 10 o'clock. We left our room at 11h30 and had to pay 10€ per person for a late checkout. But in... More

The rooms are ok, the small beds are not a problem for me but my friend is tall...... Nigth desk manager was very rude, unhelpful. the beds are close to the toilets and they are not particularly clean. the wifi is ok but you should ask about large groups at the same time. It is a problem!

Where do I start? We walk in to check in and there was a very long line so we sat down for a bit. Apparently someone made the guy at reception really mad and he went off! Started yelling and telling the girl it is what it is leave if you don't like it. We asked a question before checking... More

I was surprised by the great organization at the hostel. Is a macro hostel with incredible facilities, swimming, gym, etc... And at the same time is very calm and quiet. We had wifi very fast and everywhere in the hostel, even in the great roof top.

It is very nice when after long day of walk throw city you can spend some time near the see on beach (What I like the most on vacation, to rest after long walks.) Which is not case in Barcelona. I set on hill with grass, to read the papers, someone took my bag with documents and all my belongs... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
