The apartments are in a little alley-way just off the Rambla very close to the metro Liceu - this is a great location, and about as good as you can get in Barcelona. It is close to the main cathedral and the beaches etc etc. It is next to a nice square Place Reial with lots of restaurants there and... More

We returned to MH Apartments Opera after staying there 10 years previously. We love the location only a few foot steps from La Rambla with plenty of bars and restaurants around. The metro train station Liceu is also nearby on La Rambla, turn left our of the apartment ground floor door, right at the end of the lane and then... More

I, along with 10 of my hen’s stayed at the MH Apartments Opera Rambla for two nights in June 2015. Based on our experience we will NEVER stay there again as there is a massive issue with security. To give a completely balanced view, the apartments are in a great location, spacious and clean. If we didn't experience what we... More

Here's some context. My wife and I traveled with our 19 month old child. Imagine the fun of bringing 50lbs of luggage, diaper bag, and other carry-ons on our child's first international flight to Europe. We traveled to Barcelona by way of RenFe train from Madrid. Getting into Barcelona, we were excited what was ahead of us(and luckily traveled with... More

We stayed at these appartments for 3 nights and loved the location near La Rambla. As others have mentioned the lane way is smelly and there is a lot of noise from the bars opposite. We slept ok although bed is hard, but one would have trouble sleeping on the sofa bed which is in a room opposite the bars.... More

We stayed twice last Summer 2014 at the end of August. Great price for an EXCELLENT location. We should keep quiet about like a good fishing spot but you need to share the experience. The place entrance is located in an alley that first impression is not pleasant but you forget about that once you see the apartemnt the amenities... More

My partner just got bk from this place after going there to watch a football match, great atmosphere but beware there were prostitutes begging and pulling on his clothes for money not just one but 6 which would also be waiting at the apartment door early hours of the morning. The room was fine but on arrival they're were no sheets... More

Very loud from about 11:30 pm- 4 am! I am a sound sleeper from a large family, and usually nothing wakes me up. However, the Irish pub across the street has people singing and yelling for hours. If you want to be up partying during these times, it sounds like a lot of fun, but even with good ear plugs,... More

Clean, neat and comfy. Noises from the street, yes, but that's life. Stayed there for five nights and after the first one got used to people having fun out there. Location couldn't be better. Just a great place!

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
