4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2009

5 rooms is not an inexpensive hotel but you get your money's worth. It's a two-floor affair in a 19th century building... I can say the actual place and experience are better than the photos in their website. The standard room is spacious and the bed big and comfortable ... I slept so well. The toiletries are of high quality.... More

The room was spacious with a private bathroom. There was no street noise, so it was peaceful despite being near the center of the city. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Jessica, the proprietor, was always available to answer questions. It is located perfectly for access to the old sections of Barcelona and Gracia. Placa Cataluna, were the Aerobus and... More

Great rooms, great location, great atmosphere. The owners couldn't do enough to help! Incredibly stylish, but homely at the same time.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
