We were three and sharing an en suite room; it was simple but clean enough and comfortable. The reception staff was welcoming. No problems at all, if you can bear with a few drawback, such as the window panel in the bathroom was broken, and our window gave into a closed yard and yes, as some other critics say, it... More

stay for 3 nights with my friends in 3 beds. The room is not so big but it has own balcony. The shared bathroom is clean and big. Staff are friendly. The location is near to some attractions. What I loved about this hostel, it has really nice smell. It feels like I was in the spa.

If you would like to get your sleep and feel 'a casa' go somewhere else. I stayed in room 11 for 21 euros a night, I thought it was a fair price for the area, but really it was the worst experience I had in my 6 weeks on different hostels and hotels in Barcelona. Que Tal offers a room,... More

What you pay is what you get. Good localisation, nice, tidy room. It was nice to stay 4 nights in this hotel. As we staied at the hotel only for sleeping we do not need any luxury. We like the view on the noisy street and the close proximity of Spar.

I spent 3 nights at the hostel. The location is very good and the rooms are spacious and clean. Otherwise, the rooms don't have air conditioning and they could be very hot. The internet connection works well, especially if you don't stay at the reception floor.

We stayed at the hostel for 7 nights, we booked a double bed room, which was super clean and had a big window and private sink, the room got cleaned everyday and got fresh towes everyday which was real nice. The location is perfect, +- ten minute walk from Sagrada Familia, +- 10 minute walk to closest metro station (diagonal... More

I have seen some poor reviews on here but I have nothing to complain about. I arrived VERY early (which I had told reception about), expecting to just leave my bag, but it turned out the room was ready, which was great. The room was small, but I wasn't expecting much. (I paid 34€.). The girl on the front desk... More

The location was ideal for visiting different areas in Barcelona. Everyone at the reception was very friendly and helpfull. Every day the room was cleaned and we got fresh towels. If I visit Barcelona again, I would go back :)

Located in the center of the Antoni Gaudí triangle: La Pedrera, Casa Batlló & Saga Familia, less than 15 min each direction. It's a 2-star, very very basic, hostel with a very small door sign. Not a Gaudi fan myself, but strongly recommend it to those traveling-on-budget fans. May take a train from the airport for 4 Euro to the... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
