An interesting experience, because you will find yourself in a very local neighborhood. Do not pay to much attention to those complaining here, all basics will be covered. The cleaning lady is super friendly, she is from Islas Canarias and is always ready to help. True that, the guy that works at night looks like a #Securityguy so what? He... More

Hi Jose!! Thank you very much for such a good opinion!! As you say, we are located in a very local neighborhood and also try to treat our guests in a very familiar way, since it is a family bussiness. We will be very happy to see you again if you come back to Barcelona. Kind regards from all the... More

My partner and I can not reccomend this place enough. Such kind helpful staff, even helping us when our flight got cancelled. Rooms were clean and it was perfect location for what we wanted. If we come back to Barcelona we will stay here again.

It's just indescribable. ..first the guy that works there at night, looks like a security gard and the only words he knows is the price (70 euros!). The room is old fashioned, and if u could fit 2 asians in the bathrom u would be my hero. They barely know what a receipt is....truly awful.

My friend was visiting from out of town and I put her in this place as she was on a budget. Even for a person on a budget, this place is not nice. I feel the rooms are too small and cramped up. The only thing I have to positive say is the location. Everything else is no no.

I bboked this hostal looking for a cheap place, I did it other times in Barcelona but this time I wasn't lucky. I think this place is poor even for the cheap price you pay. Everything is minimalistic over there. The room is not particularely big, but beds are really small. We had a triple room with two double bed,... More

This '2 star' pension is without doubt one of the worst places I have ever stayed in. The rooms are small, dingy-the decor is unspeakable, (cheap boudoir style) our window looked out onto a internal courtyard from which you could hear every single thing happening in any of the other rooms including flushing of toilets. The beds are crammed in,... More

The Pension Lesseps or Hostal Lesseps at the 239 Gran de Gracia in Barcelona is hardly a recommendable place except for maybe a one night stay when you cant find anything else. The rooms are clean, but very noisy, and cold in the winter. No mats or rugs on the bare floors, not even in the bathroom, and just some... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
