After reading mixed reviews about this hotel I was a bit weary to stay here, but the price persuaded us to go ahead and book anyway. The hotel was so easy to find and within walking distance to La Sagrada Familia (and also close to Sant Pau - Dos de Maig metro station). When we arrived, the receptionist and I... More

Stayed here a weekend with my breadrin for the Barca vs Seville game Good location - 5 mins walk to nearest Metro and then just one line to the Camp Nou, taking no longer than 15-20 mins. Will definitely be back when I return to see Messi + co in action

This hotel sucks! When you arrive you have to carry your luggage upstairs. After that, you have to go to the 6th floor to the reception. This hotel doesn't have breakfast and the room stinks (I believe it's because of humidity). The clerk was not friendly at all and the price is too high considering the cost-benefit. DO NOT GO... We stayed in this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. We found that the location was perfect, it was a short walk from an underground station, and within 10-15 minutes walk to Sagrada Familia! There are several supermarkets and Tapas bars in the local area, and a number of night buses service the area as well. A great stay... More

The main thing you want from an hotel is to get a good night's sleep and I didn't get it at Hotel Everest. The door of my room was apparently not soundproof and as it was located near the reception desk, this was quite annoying. The room was spacious, although a slight stench in the bathroom was discernible. The staff... More

The hotel is located in a central spot near to Sagrada Familia and 100m. from the metro station and this is the biggest advantage. Also the price was ok considering the prices in Barcelona. Clean enough, big bathroom, many restaurants and places to go near it! The biggest disadvantage : the stuff speaks not a word of English!!!Very difficult to communicate!Almost... More

We stayed there for three nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is situated in a secure and clean area with 10 to 15 minutes walking distance to Sagrada and 5 mintues to Hospital San Pau (Gaudi building). The room was perfect: Big bathroom, aircondition, television, big terrace. Nearby you find plenty of Bodegas and small coffee shops.... More

Only stayed for one night. Was given an Attica apartment which had good kitchen facilities (Kettle, microwave hob, fridge) with dining table.Great for breakfasts and snacks. Refurbed, with nice furniture and decor. Overlooking the street and didn't have a balcony which may be an issue if you are there for longer. Small but adequate bathroom with good shower. Many local... More

We are staying already 3 nights here, and enjoying it. The rooms are nice with a really nice patio, big rooms and showers, plenty of hot water, 3 minute walk from metro station, nice neighberbood, reasonable price, and above that the staff was super nice. The only downside - on our first night they gave us the only free room... More

Everest is a small, quiet, clean and pleasant hotel. There's no breakfast, but there's a coffee and soft drinks machine next to the reception (we weren't told so, and every morning we run to the Avenida Gaudi coffee shops, close to the hotel). It is situated next to the hospital of St Pau (which is an imressing building) and in... More
