This is a unique (in the nicest way) place in a very good part of town. The room was very comfortable and the shower was outstanding. The service was very good and helpful. English is not a problem here. Certainly, visit the bar and if Marcelo is there, say you were reocmended by the BWU sailing team. We all just... More

Clean decent size rooms. Nice bathroom. Within walking distance to most areas of Barcelona. Quite noisy at night ... the large market right outside our window was under construction and work started very early in the mornings. Also lots of street noise at night including very loud trash pick-up. Staff was very friendly but the check in process was rather... More

The hotel had great access to the Aerobus Urgell bus stops on Gran Via and Sepulveda, and a short wark to three metro lines (Sant Antoni, Urgell and Poble Sec). It was also a short walk to the old town and into Eixample. The food at the hotel itself was good, with an affordable breakfast and dinner menu. I also... More

We really didnt know what to expect when we booked this through Hotels.com. Our main reason for going to Barcelona was to see the Grand Prix in May 2014. We had 3 nights at this hotel and we booked it based on the prices and pictures and other reviews. Wow........ what a brilliant choice. Its an amazing hotel. Really beautiful,... More

Stayed here at the end of October, got a very good rate for 2 nights (Fri & Sat). Taxi from Barcelona is about €35. Hotel is in a residential area, but its full of activity & only 15 mins walk to La Rambla. Our room was perfect. Small, but we were not going to Barcelona to stay in our hotel... More

This Hotel is in a great location is is only a few blocks from La Rambla easy walking distance. Good food and well priced for the moderate traveller. We stayed here after a 12 day cruise around Europe for 3 nights. You will need to request additional pillows not such an issue. Enjoy your stay we did.

Very nicely located within walking distance to tourist sites downtown. (keeping in mind we love to walk!) Very easy access to metro. Staff was great and guided us to a great Italian restaurant within walking distance! And helped us graciously with everything we needed. Buffet breakfast was great! Room was good size. We were very impressed by size of bathroom!... More

This time I travelled with friends. We had 2 double and 3 single rooms. The hotel was perfect for us. The double rooms were spacious with large bathrooms, the single rooms were on the smaller side. However, the rooms were not soundproof and noise both from the outside and from other parts of the hotel could be heard. The hotel... More

Perfect location to explore the city by bus and metro. Very warm welcome, nice hotel, friendly stuff. The room was good. nice design and good size, fabulous bathroom , would have been nice to have a mini bar / fridge in the room. Our room was a little loud in the night and in the morning. Maybe the only problem... More

The hotel is a little off the well known tourist centers and yet very well connected to public transport (metro line 2: 5min walk, airport bus 10 min walk, etc) there are a lot of little cafés, restaurants and two supermarkets in the neighborhood, so everything the city traveler needs. The hotel is build into an apartment building and has... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
