The hotel has many positive aspects: location, clean rooms, and the most important, very helpful and friendly staff. They were amazing. The relationship cost/benefit is quite fair when it comes to Barcelona, a city which charge us for everything. The only negative aspect is that there are some teenagers who spent most of their time, including at night skaterollng in... More

Positive: -Close to Las Ramblas and the subway -Clean -Excellent and kind Staff Negative: -The quality/price ratio (a bit expensive for a 2-star hotel in a not so popular area) I would recommend this hotel although I believe it should be cheaper.

Actually we stayed there during our honeymoon, last week in October, and i must admit it was an excellent experience, the rooms are somehow small, on the first day we were given a room not overlooking the main road which wasn't quite pleasant and somehow small, then on the second day we were transferred to a new one with a... I do not recommend this hotel, I am very disappointed. I wouldn`t book again, rooms are extremely small. I have booked and paid double standard room but we were obviously accommodated in other type of room on the ground floor. We asked to be relocated but were told that there were no other rooms available. After an argue and the... More

Dear Guest, We greatly apologize that the room size didn't please you. However, the rooms are in keeping with the rules for 2 Star Hotel. Despite asking for a room change due to high occupancy of the hotel we were unable to offer a room change that day, but after we did it in order to get you more confortable... More

I stayed in the hotel for business for one week. This is a good place to stay if you don't mind small rooms, really small. I guess that for Europeans that might be common size but if you are American like me, it can be claustrophobic at first. This place has a lot of good things going for him. The... More

We have just returned from this hotel and couldn't fault anything. The staff were helpful both during and before our stay. I had emailed a few queries and they got straight back. Checking in was quick and the room was great. We were given room 001 which is actually suitable for disabled customers but fine for us. It was ground... More

From the moment I walked in the door until I checked out I had a great experience. The front desk attendant was extremely friendly and went above the ordinary level of customer service expected. The room was clean and as expected. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Barcelona.

room was small but fit my needs for a short business stay. Would have preferred a bit more deskspace, but that's a detail. As this was the ground floor room it didn't have a window but a door which wasn't that well sound isolated. However, as it didn't face the quite vibrant street it was ok also at night. It... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
