We recently stayed here for 4 nights. It's in a great location and I would highly recommend this hotel. The only thing I would say is the rooms are small but not tiny. It's ideal for a short stay. The wardrobe doesn't really count as one. You get 4 or 5 hangers and it's designed poorly. This might seem like... More

I stayed in the hotel for two nights with my little girl before I started my road trip around Spain. It's a very clean and stylish hotel, with all the amenities needed. It's very accessible to the metro and renfe. Located at walking distance to sagrada familia, casa batlo and casa milla. Can't complain about anything, except the bar was... More

The location was great and we found our favorite hang out, bar and Resturant round the corner; Sopa Boba. We got in on a late flight and were given a lovely room; seating area by the windows, lovely bathroom & lovely welcome note. The only problem was that the bed was two singles put together and the gap was still... More

Super super tiny room. Get down from bed and you will bump into something. Design quotient is high with some urbane look. But that's it. Reception told me to come to ground floor to get wifi as they cannot guarantee connection in room. Upon some angry exchanges they did something but very poor. One of the room has some terrace... We stayed for two nights. The hotel itself was in a good location, had stylish interiors and a good selection of food at breakfast. Our only criticisms of the room were the lack of tea and coffee making facilities and that the shower door would scrape the light fitting when opened and closed. Otherwise, lovely. However the staff were indifferent... More

It was my first trip to Barcelona and one of my best friend recommended this hotel and it was a good choice! Also I was traveling with a group of friends and stayed in the hotel. We booked two rooms and spent almost a week in Barcelona. The breakfast was included and for the price they offered a great selection... More

We recently had a three night stay in this hotel. The hotel was easy to find and the check-in was fairly painless. The staff were ok but not exactly all smiles and welcomes, goodness knows what they'll be like by the end of the holiday season. The room was standard in size, a little tired around the edges but it... More

We truly enjoyed our stay at 987 - the location is excellent for getting around a lot of the areas of Barcelona. Walking to major spots to sightsee, to shop, to dine, to enjoy the nightlife is all very convenient. And if walking is not your thing the staff was excellent about calling us a cab when needed. The breakfast... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
