Second time we stayed at Hotel Fornos. Very convenient to metro, port for crusing and Las Ramblas. Much noisier this time maybe because it was May day and there were alot more people on Las Ramblas. Hotel clean, good staff and breakfast ok. Would stay there a third time if I am ever in Barcelona again.

Stayed here in July with a mate, it's a decent hotel nothing spectacular but cheap and clean.the location is superb, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. If you want a good stay at a good price this hotel is ideal. Good breakfast and air conditioning

Great basic hotel with an absolutely fantastic location. If you need total quiet and crash early this might not be your cup of tea. Otherwise you are right in the middle of one of the worlds great streets Pretty much a seven day a week nonstop party. Rooms are clean, inexpensive for Barcelona. Also a decent free breakfast from 8-10.

This hotel is located on La Rambla, unless your a light sleeper it is not for you. However the rooms are clean, staff are friendly. There is good Wifi, plus luggage scales & printing access. Access to metro and many other tourist places throughout city is excellent.

We book 5 nights at this hotel. Must say great location. The hotel was on rambles easy access to everything. The room was basic, but was cleaned and beds made everyday, new towels everyday. Our room had a great view of the Rambles . Just wished with had own tea and coffee making in our room. Breakfast was ok. Will... More

Bottom line- PROS: Location and Price is Reasonable CONS: Noise level, Staff NEUTRAL OPINION: Leaving key with front desk every time you leave We stayed at this hotel after our group of five decided they couldn't spend another night in the hostel we originally booked. Since it was a last minute expense we were trying to keep the price as... More

We wanted to stay the week end in Barcelona, and found this hotel via the web. As it was situated on the Ramblas it suited us perfectly .The price was reasonable, the rooms were clean and had all the facillities needed and the booking and reception was direct and easy. Very helpful staff. All in all a pleasant experience. Would... More

For the price the location can't be beaten. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room though basic was clean and spacious. The only downside was because of it's very central location, it was a little noisy at night. Breakfast was ok, fresh croissants, fruit, cereal, fruit juice.....as much as you want. Good value, ideally located!!

Located at the Rambla very close to Plaza Real. If you are looking for location, this is a good hotel. But this is all. The reception people are not helpful at all, the room is small and the noise of the street can destroy your night. And no breakfast!!

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
