Choose Nisia if you like to say in the City center with short distance to most things! It's a fairly priced B&B run by a lovely couple (Laura & Paolo). It's perfect to reach from the airport through the Subway and very close to most interesting spots! Just around the corner is a nice square with lots of local restaurants... More

It was a pleasure to stay in Nisia - you feel the welcoming atmosphere from the first moment, and the friendly and service minded host, Laura and her staff, is the key to the good vibrations at this place. The rooms are quite small, but the big advantage for such a small hostal is the private bathroom in every room.... More

We thought this place was a real "winner". Laura and Paolo are excellent hosts.. There is a lovely communal area looking out over the street - we'd been on the road for 2 weeks staying mostly in conventional hotels and especially appreciated having a comfortable communal area we could relax in and make a cup of tea etc when we... I was just there for 5 nights, and as I had some semi-business appointments in Gracia, the location could not have been better. (Also in walking distance to just about anything else you might want to see or do in Barcelona.) The room was nice and bright, the bed very comfortable. Most importantly, since it faced the back it was... More

I stayed here for 7 days with my girlfriend. The place is very close to public transportations and in 15 minutes you can reach every spot in the city. If you like walking, Sagrada Familia is 25 minutes away as Picasso museum and the Ramblas. The place is not huge, they have a nice little apartment on the roof and... More

This was a very comfortable, clean B&B. Excellent breakfast. Close to the metro and across the street from a chocolate shop! Our hosts were very accommodating and our room was cleaned everyday. Tiny toilet facility in each room.

The Nisia Bed & Breakfast is in a great location. All you need to see is in walking distance. The rooms are cosy, coulourful and clean and most of all the owners are very welcoming and go out of their way to start the day off with a good breakfast. We really loved our visit!

This B&B is a great option if you want a good location but you're on a bit of a budget. Laura was always very quick to respond to any emails and questions we had before we arrived to the B&B. We had a little bit of trouble finding it once we got off the metro, it's a good thing we... More

We really can recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to visit Barcelona and pay a good price/quality. We stayed for 3 nights and were very happy with our choice. The B&B is easy to reach (only 5 min. walk from the nearest metro-station Diagonal). The Gracia-district is a very pleasant area and together with the El Born-district, our favourite... More

We stayed in this B&B for two nights and they were great. It was great to have the bathroom in the room instead of a shared bathroom. Laura was also great. We enjoyed our stay. Very close to metro station and walking distance to many sites.

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
