Visited that hotel for a vacation week in Barcelona. Not very nice hotel, but is OK for the price. Breakfast room was small but breakfast was adequate although ending very soon at 9 a.m. Bus stop is some steps away. Very convenient line 46 from/to the airport. Only Spanish channels on the TV. Big bathroom at the center of the... More

After reading many a review on tripadvisor, it made me very anxious and worried when i decided to stay at BCN Montjuic. But on arrival i was plecently suprised when we turned up and was greated by a recoptionist that spoke good English and gave us a quick and easy check in. We arrived for a two nights stay, we got a first floor room on the street side. Underneath the street, no light, awful location, cars every 20 sec etc... Moreover we were told the usual price for that room was half what we paid.

Was very surprised when they stated that the hotel was in Plaza Espana, it wasn't, it was close to 3/4 mile away from it. The AC did work, the wireless was so slow. DO NOT PAY FOR THE GYM, 17 euros for nothing. You are able to use the pool, a 10 x 10 room with weights pushed to the... More

The only reason why we stayed here was on an EF Tour for school. We couldn't get the room warm even on 24 degrees Celsius. I woke up freezing and my roommate slept in her jacket both nights. The shower was descent and the kitchenette was nice to have the extra space but the room feels like an army barrack.... More

Very basic room, but a reasonable size and clean. The bed was comfortable enough. Nice to have a proper fridge. A couple of issues - the shower mixer tap was faulty - it could not be adjusted to a reasonable temperature, just scolding or cold. In spite of complaining twice during the week, nothing was done. Also, the 2 euro... More

This is a basic but clean hotel. The beds however are so hard, and I'm a person who favours a firmer mattress! They're almost like beds without any mattress on at all! That being said, it's reasonably quiet and close to Espanya metro stop so very handy getting about. However, don't expect a nice view! As far as I could... More

We made our reservation on Booking.com and read that we could walk to the hotel from the Aerobus Stop at Plaza Espana; we try to uphold a 'no taxi' rule wherever possible. The moment we entered the lobby of the BCN Montjuic we were impressed by the clean-cut, modern feel and sighed with relief from knowing we had made a... More
