We spent 4 nights in august 2015. Very quiet hotel and very friendly staff. The pool on the roof is perfect after walking all day in the heat. Ten minutes walk from subway station ( Espana station with very good links with major attractions including Montserrat ). There are many minimarkets around. A very good choise to visit Barcelona

We chose this aparthotel as it was within walking distance of El Poble Espanyol and we had tickets for the recent Mark Knopfler concert which was held there. It took around 10 minutes to walk to the venue. Check in was swift and easy, car parking was 17 euros a day, a bit pricey we thought but it was in... More

We stayed with our family for 9 nights. The staff was very friendly. The people at receptionist spoke well English and were very kind and helpful. Also the cleaning ladies were are very polite and friendly. We had windows to the inner yard and there was very quiet – we all got good sleep there. We did not take the... More

Spent 4 nights at this aparthotel . Excellent fully equiped room for 4. Enjoyed the pool and faclities including breakfast. Just off a main street but in a area full of local inhabitants. Short walk to Playa Espanol and majical fountains easy access to metro. Helpful staff. Looks a little out of the centre of town but really easy to... More

We stayed at this hotel in early June, let's start with the good, the rooms are a good size, you won't feel cramped, they have laundry facilities (bring your own detergent) which can come in handy, most rooms come equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, stove and basic utensils. Now the not so good, beds are uncomfortable, linens and towels are clean... More

Once again let me apologise for the problems you had with the hot wáter in your room, it was not easy to find the solution as you know and I feel very sorry for the inconviniences caused. Before I start my review I want to take a notice that I am making a review of a 3* hotel, not 5* (for those who expect a service not relevant to the hotel category). For me BCN Montjuic is a wonderful place for a city break in Barcelona! I was really wondering if I have to book the hotel... More

Stayed here for 1 night after spending a few days in Salou. This hotel/apartments were absolutely brilliant. I was very surprised on how modern it looked and the space and comfort. The bathroom was very nice. Modern, spacious and the shower was powerful. Couldn't pick any faults whatsoever. It was only 10 min walk from the bus stop that takes... More

Bleak, depressing rooms with no character whatsoever and showers that flood. We had booked a triple room and there was no bedlinen for the third person, just a blanket. Not like in the photos on hotels.com. The staff were very friendly but the check-in process is ridiculously long.

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
