This is a perfect choice no matter how old you are, where you are from and what your purpose is with your Barcelona visit. Ferran is an EXCELLENT host. The rooms are pretty and clean as well as the bathrooms and kitchen area. Also the location is worth mentioning for sure, as you are accommodated in the centre close to... More

This B&B is on 2 floors of an old building - 2nd and 6th floors. I was told that the 2nd floor is best because of extra space in the breakfast room. We stayed in the Montserrat room (although had booked the Picasso) which is a large room with plenty of space including a large couch / sofa. The bathroom... More

We booked this bnb just as we were due to leave Heathrow and head to Barcelona We found it on trip advisor and booked through booking.com We tried to book direct but had no response from the property. It was only a 10 minute walk maximum from placa da catalunya and the place the airport bus drops you off at.... More

This B&B is beautifully located right by Catalunya Plaza, with access to the Metro, hop-on hop-off buses, Aerobus, and taxis. Ferran is a great host, and we got amazing recommendations for places to eat as well as what to see. He even booked us a reservation for dinner one night. The rooms are charming and clean. Overall, an amazing place... More

My primary reason for staying at B&Bs is that you get a level of service you simply don't get at hotels, at least not for the price. Barcino met my expectations of a B&B perfectly. Ferran and Roxy are incredibly friendly and helpful and brimming with much local information and travel tips. Every time Roxy saw us, she checked to... More

I stayed for the second time at this pretty and well serviced little B&B in the heart of Barcelona. It has been some years since my last visit and I must say that things have improved a lot. Not that there was anything wrong before, but one can tell that the staff and owner are more experienced now. Everything works... More

I will definitely go back. The low key, eclectic environment, big rooms and location are all big pluses. What really stood out was how friendly and helpful Roxy and Ferran are. We were a party of 6 needing 4 rooms at different times and they accommodated us with great flexibility. All the rooms were interesting, clean and well appointed. Highly... More

We stayed there for there nights. The rooms were great and well appointed. The decor was lovely and the place was in top condition and very clean. The host were very kind and helpful. The location must be one of the best. We could walk everywhere including the shops, the gothic quarter and even the beach was only about a... More

We had a wonderful stay from beginning to end. We were met there by Roxy, who gave us the "Lay of the land". She gave us great restaurant recommendations as well as attractions to see. The location is very close to the metro which is VERY important in Barcelona. The breakfast that was prepared daily was a standard European one,... More

My daughter and I had a very good time at Barcino 147. We left yesterday after 4 days in a wonderful city and at a wonderful place in the middle of the city. Great hospitality, very friendly and very helpful. They gave us the best advice of what to see, where to go and where to eat. We felt at... More
