spent a weekend in February. Location is great, especially when you are on crutches like me. Entrance is a bit weird because the ho(s)tel is located on the second floor only. Our room (103) was very small and unfortunately had two separate beds. We did not explicitly ask for a double bed when booking so it's advisable to do so.... More

We just stayed in the Moods for four days. The hostel is located great near passeig de Gracia where you can hop on and off the two most used busservices. The hostel is small but luxureous and very clean. The service has a high standard ; we received a bottle of champagne on the day of our wedding aniversary. The... More

Lovely Bed&Breakfast right on the Ramblas, rooms are new, well equiped and clean. Nice price and nice the girls at the reception. One thing could be bettered: breakfast; they offer industrial croissants when in the area there are many bakeries that sell good fresh products.

Brilliant hotel in central location with friendly & helpful staff . Clean, functional & quiet (no kids allowed!) We booked a balcony, which was a bonus as at back of hotel. Great food places on the doorstep & two Gaudi houses 5 mins away. We spent the whole weekend seeing the city on foot. Will most definitely stay there next... More

This hotel is wonderful! The location is fabulous within walking distance of everything you want to be a part of. If you need to go further there is a Metro train station just 2 blocks away. The staff is fabulous! So helpful and considerate with every little thing you may need during your stay. The rooms are stunning! Modern but... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
