It was the second time that I stayed in Equity Point and I reinforced my opinion. It is a very nice place to stay, with an excelent location, clean, quiet, with an excelente breakfast for a cheap price. I'll always stay there when I visit Barcelona, for sure.

The service was very good. Their 1.50 Euro breakfast is great except it lack protein (ham) but for that price you can't expect a lot more. I hear that on summer they open up the terrace bar which wasn't open in winter as it was cold, which is understandable.

It's a very centric hostel and a good value for money. The service is excellent. The showers always cleaned with hot water. However there are a couple of things I didn't like. There is no free wifi in the rooms. You have to pay a small amount to have this feature. Also I liked the fact that the hostel is... More

This is a great location close to everything and a perfect base to see everything Barca has to offer. Easy to get to from the Airport and bus depot. Rooms were nice and clean and breakfast is great value. No hesitation in making a recommendation for a family stay. Staff were very helpful.

Big common areas, comfortable beds, centrally location, nice staff. The common kitchen is something that for me is very valuable and it was totally equipated and clean. The next morning we could relax on the top terrace.

The best hostel with the best service. The staff is very helpful and the guests are friendly. The breakfast is cheap and helps you start your day. This hostel is in the middle of everything so your right next to the metro and blocks away from Gaudí.

The rooms are crowded and all the towels are really dirty, with hair and poop. The bathrooms are unacceptable, as there is no private space for the shower, and you cannot lock the bathroom. That meaning, the only thing separating your naked self from anybody who enters the bathroom is a small, transparent plastic curtain. Plus, the light keeps going... More

Would not be my first choice. No windows in the larger rooms made it really hard to breath at night. Also through out our stay my friend and I were not helped with our need for an adaptor so we had low batteries the whole time and just alternated phones on a portable charger when we could

Great room, cleaned bathrooms, great atmosphere, met nice friends, good internet, great staff, good localization, easy to find the hostel and easy to go to the touristic places walking or by metro or bus.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
