Good location, staff were pretty nice, though they were understaffed when it came to check in or check out, huge queues if you needed anything you had to wait a long time. Lots of random rules, can't use the bathroom when the cleaners are there, different rooms closed at different times. But the building was really cool and a great... More

The hostel is very good located, but they should update the indications to get there. They need more people at the reception, bc there is big lines for check in and check out. The wifi is very slow, the kitchen was very small for all the people there. Travelers there were friendly, nice roof top, and was clean.

The hostel is perfectly located around the major sights and close to a Metro station. The staff is understanding and helpful. The WiFi works properly in the rooms. The interiors are clean and well maintained. You get more-bangs-for-your-bucks at this place compared to other places nearby.

this hostel is perfect for a few days in Barcelona. The staff were friendly, they keep your bags before/after you check in, and the location is great for anything you want to do in the city. They provide excellent direction to the hostel from any means of transportation. We spent 24 hours in Barcelona, and only 4 hours of sleep... More

This hostel was large, with a lively atmosphere and an excellent location in the city right near Casa Battlo and other tourist sites. My only small gripes are that there is no wifi in the rooms themselves, no air conditioning, and the lockers could be slightly bigger. However, this hostel was a good value. The rooftop is particularly cool.

I've nothing cool to say about this place, may be because it was more of a hotel. Pretty commercial, no personalized touch. It wins in terms of location - right next to the Casa Batllo, Passaige De Gracia Metro station, walking distance from Placa de catalunya. Very good connectivity dues to popular metro station. The free walking tour starts from... More

If you are looking for a personal, friendly, and nice hostel experience, I would not suggest staying here. I stayed in a 12 person dorm. The beds were clean (although the mattress was bent in a way that made my sleep quite uncomfortable), but the bathroom inside our dorm was cleaned infrequently enough that there was always water, hair, and... They staff were really rude and extremely unhelpful. They are never welcoming and get very frustrated. We had a homeless man staying in our room. There was poop on our toilet seat when we got there. But other than that pretty clean overall. The location is good but could be better. Definitely thought we were going to be closer than... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
