Nice place to stay in barcelona. Great rooms with a lot of space. Furthermore the location was perfect. So I can recommend this lovely hotel with a great furnishing!! Maybe the best hotel in this city.

Mum and I spent 5 days at this hotel last week on our first visit to Barcelona. We were not disappointed. It's 15/20 minutes from the airport in a taxi and is far enough away from the main attractions such as La Ramblas! We booked a double room which was on the 6th floor. The room was very modern, comfortable... More

Great mixture of modern decor with some antique furnishings. Nice sized room overlooking a busy, noisy street but with the windows closed the room is very quiet. All the staff are very friendly. The bar is very cool and the tapas dishes and wines are excellent. We liked being a little bit out of town in a more "locals" area.

This hotel has a great location on top if the Metro and a 10 minute walk from Placa de Catalonia at the top of Las Ramblas. The room was spacious on the 4th floor and had everything you needed on a quiet floor. There was coffee/cake from 5pm daily served on the 1st floor and a rooftop terrace where you... More

A terrific hotel in a great spot, modern, bright and friendly, a perfect end to our Spanish tour. The rooftop terrace is magical. Breakfast was lovely and the hotel a great place to relax with coffee before setting out to see the city. Just great.

This small modern boutique hotel is in a good location off Av. Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, very close to the subway between Montjuic and Eixample. We had a comfortable spacious double on the 5th F which was quiet, but regretted not having a bath - an option not offered by Secret Escapes. You may want to request more... More

Fabulous location in comfortable walking distance to the heart of Barcelona and the marina. Large rooms with large shower rooms, comfortable beds Excellent staff in all areas. Modern chic and stylish hotel. Highly recommended. Lovely relaxed breakfasts. Fantastic cocktails and live jazz music in the bar.

The hotel was situated approximately two miles from the city centre, however the metro station is very close by and only 3 stops from the city centre. For 10 euros per person, you can get a 10 trip ticket, which is excellent value. The system is colour coded and numbered and very easy to use. Check-in staff were incredibly friendly... More

We're sat on the rooftop terrace writing this review now, the hotel is just perfect, really swanky , rooms are good and immaculate, maid does a great job every day. Bar staff are amazing, they go out of there way to make you feel special, there was a great girl on last night singing and playing piano whilst we ate... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
