Lovely hotel, right in the thick of the busy city centre. Nice chilled out vibe. Rooms very comfortable, quiet as well. Reception staff very helpful - thank you Sophia. Pool area and terrace very nice. La Ramblas just 1 minute walk away and beach approx 30 minutes away. The only downside was the constant harrassment on the beach from the... More

We stayed here for three days and it is one of the best hotel's I have stayed in a very long time! The staff were efficient and helpful and gave some brilliant local recommendations about what to do in the evening to maximise the Barcelona experience. The rooms were comfortable, classy and clean, perhaps they could have had a little... More

We stayed here as a family of 3 for a week. The hotel was nicely situated near Placa de Catalonia and la Ramblas and next to a stop for the hop on-hop off city bus tour, and near attractions such as Casa Battlo and Casa Mila. Check in and check out were swift. Breakfast was excellent, and amazingly everything was... More

Nice staff, clean and big room. The swimming pool very well maintained and everything clean. The SPA was in maintenance, but I would recommend the Hotel anyway, when I will be back to BCN will stay there again.

I've stayed at the Catalonia Ramblas a number of times and every time has been fantastic. The rooms are lovely, large in size and well designed, the staff are all friendly & helpful. The location is perfect - close to La Ramblas, Catalunya Square, and most other attractions. Book it, you won't be sorry!

Booked hotel as it was close to La Ramblas. Went for a Superior Room. It was excellent in every way. Beds were comfortable, room huge, staff helpful and willing to help. We didn't have breakfast, but there's plenty of places nearby to eat Nice touch was chocolate delivered to the room each evening. Would definitely go back again Only downside... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
