Stayed at this hotel with 9 work friends as a late Christmas party, ages ranging from 18 to 55 and we all loved it! The location of this hotel is brilliant, two minutes walk from Las Ramblas which is the life and soul of the city. The hotel was modern and a good size although the hallways were all very... More

Stayed here for business for a few days. Do have to admit that this place offers very good value for money. The hotel appears to be modernised recently. Rooms are very large (at least mine was) and come with good air-conditioning, balcony and great beds. Breakfast is like it suppose to be. Only, small, downside is that the layout of... More

I was in this hotel for just two days but I can say it was fantastic. All the hotel was clean and in a perfect conditions. The service was really attentive and well-mannered. The food was tasty and abundant. I recommend it for everyone!

I've stayed at this hotel at five different times and being robbed at two of them! Watch out when you visit Barcelona. The hotel has a perfect location in the city, rooms and breakfast are Ok but don't be in a hurry when you check in/out. I've had my personal record in longest check in/out time at this

Went for a pre Christmas break to Barcelona. The location of this hotel is excellent being just 250 yards from La Ramblas and La Place du Catalonia (start location for the city bus tours and taxis aplenty). And yet peace and quiet for a great night's sleep The hotel is spotless, the room spacious, a gigantic bed and the staff... More

We were staying on the Costa Brava and booked this hotel the evening before our impromptu trip to Barcelona to be with friends we learned were visiting the city. The welcome was friendly, but reception was quite understaffed. There were a number of angry clients in the lobby waiting for their rooms or displeased with the rooms they were assigned.... More

Very central for playa Catalunya, and Las Ramblas, and Aerobus to airport. Nice and clean hotel, unfortunately had no atmosphere. In the 4 days we stayed, not one "Good Morning". We thought maybe Christmas Day would be cheerie, but not a greeting, or a smile - Shame.. Strange room lay-out. Glass door to loo & shower, with a heavy, sliding... More

The hotel is very modern. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were allowed to check in early in the morning after our overnight flight which was really nice. Our room had a small balcony that looked out on to a side street. It was pretty quiet at night. Check in was a bit slow. Really liked the large Jacuzzi/pool in... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
