I stayed here for a four night break in August 14, the location of the hotel is first class and the decor fresh and modern. I was there on a girls weekend and we shared a triple room, all be it one of those beds was a temporary bed. The service was pretty slow and we had to ask several... More

My companion & I stayed at the Catalonia Ramblas recently for a long weekend, we found the hotel staff to be very friendly & helpful, we where early on arrival, however the staff where still happy to book us in, store our luggage & even gave us a map & detailed explanation of where the attractions where located, so that... I arrived at the hotel a little early and was told that the room would not be ready for another 20 minutes. The host immediately offered myself and my companions some drinks tokens so that we could relax at the bar by the pool until the room was ready. A very nice touch! When the room was ready we found... I had visited Barcelona for several days for tourist purposes. The best advantage of the hotel is location as it is near La Rambla and across the street from many tours sold by Viator. The hotel is not clean. It is old and furniture was stained. It smelled old and funny, not clean. Sheets were old and with holes. Breakfast... More

We stayed here once (a could of weeks ago) and tried again a few days back with our confirmed reservation (I had checked directly with the hotel before coming from Canada). The first stay, when the 12 noon deadline to leave arrived, our room key stopped functioning and we were told 'you must leave in 15 minutes' or they would... More

Very good location. Close to Catalunya square and ramblas. Clean modern hotel. Well worth upgrading to suites with plunge pool and terrace. Staff helpful in moving us from suite with twin beds to one with king size bed. Good food in restaurant. Good views and privacy. Main down sides were the very expensive breakfast and the patchy wifi.

Our room was dirty from the start, they have us a new room. Took 3 calls for a iron to be bought up and never came, apparently they only have 2 irons for the whole hotel. Hot water was not available one night. We paid over 1000k Australian for 4 nights for this dump. I have stays in better hostels.

The hotel was very nice, the facilities were good and the food very good, however the service was poor. It took ages to get a drink on the terrace or in the bar. The other tables weren't cleared away and when the order of drinks were finally brought to you they were often wrong. It is a shame really as... More

Most enjoyable 4 night stay. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Our room was well appointed, comfortable and very clean. Great pool and terrace to relax after sightseeing. Recommend.

My friend and I stayed here for a long weekend - although ended up being a double, the room & bed was gigantic!! Definitely never felt under each others feet! Location was excellent - right by La Rambla & metro station at the end of the block. Staff were super polite, helpful & knowledgeable! If I had one negative the... More
