We absolutely loved this place! The staff were so helpful and lovely. It felt like we had our own apartment but even better because we had breakfast cooked every morning. Not just a typical continental either, breakfast was an incredible spread of fresh fruit, bread, cheeses, cold meats, eggs, muesli and yoghurt. The location couldn't be better, less than 2... More

On our honeymoon we wanted an inexpensive place to stay walking distance from everything in Barcelona, and that's exactly what we found. The establishment was clean and well taken care of. Nothing fancy, but definitely suited our needs. Breakfast was awesome. The location was unbeatable.

Fantastic location just off la rambla. Beautiful decor we stayed in a private room with en suite and it was bright, spacious, clean with good air conditioning. The breakfast buffet had fresh, wide ranging delicious food. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely would go back.

This place is great! It's very close to La Rambla, so it makes for easy access to most attractions, restaurants etc. We got there very easily from the airport by taking a bus and then about a 5-10 minute walk. It was me, my boyfriend and a friend. We got a triple room which was perfect. Clean, good sized and... More

Had a wonderful four day stay at Vrabac. Perfectly located in a sidestreet of the Ramblas. The street is very busy during the day, but at least in our room we didn't have any noise problems. The room was cozy and clean, though we very much missed a small fridge to store (and keep cold!) some drinks and food. We... More

Vrabac is the perfect place for the travelers who are searching for central location, affordable accommodation and home-like stay experience. Hotel is a multi-storey one with no elevator (info for those who are concerned). I have stayed in a single-room on the first floor. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was its beautifully decorated rooms - but the... More

No trouble finding the place as other reviewers have stated but the 5 flights of stairs were quite difficult with luggage. The hosts were not warm or welcoming, very business like. Excellent centralized location right off La Rambla, walking was a breeze to several areas (Gothic area & the waterfront). The rooms were very quite & had a lot of... More

Vrabac is a bit tricky to find (look for number 14) but it's in a great street off La Rumbla and almost across from market entrance. Very near cathedral square. The guesthouse is up several flights of stairs so unsuitable for the unfit or the luggage laden visitor. If you travel light and like to be in the Center of... More

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
