We were looking for a nice place in the city center of Barcelona and found vrabac. I was stunned by the beautiful pictures, ratings were good and prices seamed fair so we booked right away. I hoped for it to be as nice as it looks and was really happy it was even better. Very romantic, candles and flowers everywhere.... More

We stayed 3 nights in deluxe double room ensuite. The hotels' location is just perfect for sightseeing, shopping, going out for night. There was a construction just by the hotel but still the room was really quiet. The hotel has its own style. The decoration, breakfast everything just fits with its soul. The staff is also very friendly. We just... More

Most of the reviews we read about this place were quite accurate. This place is at a very convenient location, within ten minutes of walk from metro stations and a lovely market selling fresh local produce, a big plus for budget travelers. It has spacious and clean rooms, though a bit old fashioned but charming in its own way. Team... More

Very stylish guest house located 2 minutes walk from Las Ramblas and 5 minutes from nearest Metro station so provides an easy access to the rest of the city, besides you could walk to most attractions anyway. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. The only downside is that the rooms are not numbered and we had somebody clearly confused trying... More

Took a little while to find but after we got there everything was divine. The rooms were small however they had a great vibe and were extremely well maintained. The breakfast was exceptional with fresh fruits and cheeses. I would definitely recommend

Room was 100E per night. Very small with sink that did not fit both hands. Bed was small and very hard. Sheets did not fit well and were pulling up on sides of bed. Throw rugs were very dirty with soiled stains. Light outside window in the atrium was always shinning and made it difficult to sleep. Owners are out... More

This hotel is in a fantastic location a few metres off La Rambla, a few minutes' walk from most of the main Old-Town sites. The room was very pleasant, well-decorated and comfortable: quiet at night and with very good light blocking. I normally need a blindfold to sleep but with the curtains and shutters I could sleep very well. There... More

We absolutely loved this place! The staff were so helpful and lovely. It felt like we had our own apartment but even better because we had breakfast cooked every morning. Not just a typical continental either, breakfast was an incredible spread of fresh fruit, bread, cheeses, cold meats, eggs, muesli and yoghurt. The location couldn't be better, less than 2... More

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
