Had a wonderful four day stay at Vrabac. Perfectly located in a sidestreet of the Ramblas. The street is very busy during the day, but at least in our room we didn't have any noise problems. The room was cozy and clean, though we very much missed a small fridge to store (and keep cold!) some drinks and food. We... More

Vrabac is the perfect place for the travelers who are searching for central location, affordable accommodation and home-like stay experience. Hotel is a multi-storey one with no elevator (info for those who are concerned). I have stayed in a single-room on the first floor. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was its beautifully decorated rooms - but the... More

No trouble finding the place as other reviewers have stated but the 5 flights of stairs were quite difficult with luggage. The hosts were not warm or welcoming, very business like. Excellent centralized location right off La Rambla, walking was a breeze to several areas (Gothic area & the waterfront). The rooms were very quite & had a lot of... More

Vrabac is a bit tricky to find (look for number 14) but it's in a great street off La Rumbla and almost across from market entrance. Very near cathedral square. The guesthouse is up several flights of stairs so unsuitable for the unfit or the luggage laden visitor. If you travel light and like to be in the Center of... More

The photos are misleading! The room was extremely dark and gloomy, to use the shower you must push a lever which then gives you one minute of water-ridiculous! The office to check in is NOT labeled from the stairwells could not find it! Literally had to drag my bags up and down 5 flights off stairs ringing each bell in... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. It was comfortable but a little more basic than what we had imagined. Our room was charming but at night a little dark and the lighting was v subtle. The bedroom was very spacious but the bathroom quite small and the shower very small. Lucky we are both slim otherwise it may have been a challenge. Our room... More

There is not a thing I did not like about Vrabac. The location? Just perfect, in a typical and lively narrow street of the Barri Gothic quarter, only a few meters from the famous Ramblas, about 3 to 5 minutes walk to metro station Liceu and typical Bocquaia Market. The rooms? The one I had (deluxe ensuite) was tastefully decorated,... More

Firstly i will list the good points about this Guesthouse. Management responded punctially to my queries, the weeks leading to my stay, and they were welcoming and friendly in their response. They organised a bottle of champagne and grapes on my bequest. My partner sprained his ankle before arriving at the house and management were helpful and showed concern and... More

The Location of this hotel is perfect in the historic gothic quarter, just a few places from Las Ramblas, and a short walk one way from the Placa du Catalunya and a short walk the other to the sea front. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was varied healthy and fresh, not to mention delicious with tables... More

Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
