Me and my girlfriend went for a city break in Barcelona and we stayed at Ally`s Guest House. At arrival our host was very friendly, showed us the room, we had chosen the insuite double room, the view was to the alley, but in fairness that is mentioned on the description of the room when you book it. Anyway that... More

We were looking for convenient, clean, & comfortable budget lodging for this trip. Ally's was perfect! Super clean & comfy. My sister and I reserved the room with 2 singles and private bath. Convenient to the metro, a few restaurants, little grocery store and in a very safe neighborhood (2 women traveling). Our hosts were women and provided great insight... More

Our stay was a very comfortable 3 nights. Chose Ally's for location which was excellent for the sights and metro/bus. Certainly will be a first choice for a return visit to this fabulous city. Very welcoming and helpful owners/staff. Loved its understated ambience.

I enjoyed the stay a lot and will come back. Given various experiences in Barcelona, this place is the best by far. Clean, neat, cosy and good standard. I felt very comfortable there. :) Breakfast is not too rich but gives you all basics you may want. :) Close to metro :)

My family and I stayed in Ally's place for 4 nights. We took one big room for all of us and it was great (no TV). The room was clean and the breakfast was basic but satisfying. The location is great: 15 mints walking from Catalonia plaza and 10 mints walking to La Sagrada Família.

We stayed in this lovely B&B for a romantic weekend. It is a lovely flat, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the living areas and bathrooms are pleasant. The breakfast was very good and there was always tea/cofee available. I would strongly recommend if you are looking for something cosy and pleasant where you have the option to be... More

Found this B&B on bookings.com. Spent 5 nights prior at other hotels in Barcelona as well Lloret de Mar, none as good as Ally's. They responded quickly & professionally to our email booking, allowed us to check in early, staff very accommodating & helpful, rooms clean, European style breakfast included, central location with easy access to Metro & major city... Overall we had a pleasant stay. We got a nice but small room without windows with external light. There was a modern and clean shared bathroom and a cosy shared living/breakfast room. Breakfast was basic, but acceptable according to spanish norms (we have high standards concerning breakfast). There was quite a lot of noise due to water drops during the... More

Excellent location, just opposite to the metro station, major tourist attractions and city centre were within walking distance. I stayed in double room with shared bathroom. The room was spacious and very clean with air conditioner. There were 2 bathrooms with toilet and 1 toilet shared by 5 rooms, all very clean. Breakfast was good as a B&B. Unlimited tea... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
