Graciela was so very helpful. I had to stay here for my last evening as the original place was over booked. Graciela helped me get to the airport because the metro doesn't run 24 hours during the week and I ad to spend extra $$ to get to the airport. The room was comfortable and clean. She offered me breakfast... More

Very noisy and uncomfortable place. The description of the rooms is not true. Very noisy! We could not have good sleep because of the loud air conditioner and sounds of the other guests entering the house. The breakfast is served early and you hear it as well. The breakfast is made from the cheapest products. Not fresh either. You can... More

Do not stay here. Loud air conditioner and noise made it impossible to sleep. We checked out early and we told we would only be charged for the one night we stayed but we were fraudulently charged for two nights. They refuse to give us a credit even though, when hotels.com called on our behalf, they promised they would. DO... More

We are traveling with another family and needed affordable lodging but wanted breakfast included. Ally's was that place. Located close to tourist sights, shopping and metro so getting around the city is very easy. Breakfast is very good and fresh.

Maybe it's only on interior room's. Picasso room was small and could have been great. Except for the bathroom smell, the less than adequate breakfast and the air conditioning on the room. Smell : drainage. Air conditioning: Loud. Breakfast: bare minimum.

We found this little gem online for a cheap price. We got lucky with a beautiful big room with a great view overlooking Barcelona. While it was a little hard to find the first time it's easy enough to get in once you know how. All the staff are very friendly and understanding of working around your time in the... More

Clean, friendly, central location. Stayed here in 2012 (the Picasso room) and it was fantastic. The owner was lovely, we got a basic continental breakfast every morning and there was a lovely corner shop within throwing distance if we wanted to stock up on extras like drinks and things to nibble on. The guest house came complete with everything including... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in the guesthouse for 7 nights in the exterior room with balcony and a private bathroom. overall, we had a good experience, but there were many things that definitely made it harder for us to enjoy the place. we'll start with the positive: the location! a walking distance to many of the main attractions and... Friendly welcome once we managed to locate the entrance! Good location though and felt safe at night. However, sadly the beds were very uncomfortable, bathrooms weren't great (more like large wet rooms with lots of stuff to get soaked), noisy outside, nowhere to put anything away if you were to stay more than a couple of nights. Breakfast was passable... More

Staff were helpful and English was very good. Lovely breakfast of continental meats and bread. Cakes and coffee available 24/7. Great location and near a metro. Lovely district and some fab pubs and restaurants nearby. The Sagradia Familia is within walking distance.

    Staying in Eixample

    Neighborhood Profile
    Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
