Very nice and helpful staff, fairly quiet at night even though it's very central, new towels every day. But... No cleaning - they didn't even sweep the floors. Sheets were changed one time in that week.

Having never stayed in a hostel before this was very pleasantly surprising. Building looked old and full of character from the outside but very modern inside. Right in the centre of Barcelona off Las Ramblas and minutes from Plaça de Catalunya. Private en suite facilities with air con, heating tv and balcony overlooking the street below. One minus was the... More

Great heating. There are a lot of bad reviews about this hostel. They seem quite outdated though. It must have been recently renovated because everything was new. Over... More

They have 2 kinds of rooms, they show on the picture only the best rooms, 2 or 3, the rest are Horrible. We paid them 2 nights, but could stand the... More

Please don`t ever book with hostal Fina! Even if the location is good the conditions are terrible, even for somebody used to staying in hostals. Sites like Barcelona30 should check the hostals they promote and give a realistic picture of their offer!

Staying in Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
