The hotel is nice and located in the busiest street La Rambla with easy access to any main attractions. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a lift from the ground to the hotel reception but you may carry luggages one stair to reach your room. The room is clean, street view and have everything except refrigerator.... More

If you intend to use your hotel for any other thing than sleeping, you should stay somewhere else. But if location is important, the Benidorm is an excellent choice when going to Barcelona. Rooms are small, but have nice bathrooms. If you get a room facing the street (La Rambla) then you may experience some noise. As you will in... More

We stayed here for one night and found it great. It was just on La Rambla and was easy to find. Inside we got a decent sized room (must have been one of the newer rooms) that was perfectly clean with a lovely en suite that had a great shower (much better than mine at home!) The staff were very... More

the location at La Ramblas is excellent. 2 minutes from the metro-station and you can walk to many places because the hostel has a perfect location. Moreover, the staff is very helpful and very kind. We slept in room number 420 with a view at La Ramblas. Definitely, we will come back the next time! You can take the bus... More

24/7 receptionist who was talking loud after midnight and rooms are few meters only away . no lift and you have to carry your suitcase upstairs. photos are different than the actually hotel and room. Night time receptionist couldn't speak English ! and no help at all, I booked through travelocity but when I went there after a long trip... More

My experience in this Hostel was terrible. The ckeck-in was at 12h, we arrived there at 12h30, and we still waited 30min for our room to be ready. The room was very small and the bathroom dreadful! To take a shower we need to be very careful not to flood the room! Moreover, we could hear everything at was going... More

It’s my 6th time to be in Barcelona, I used to book a certain hotel but this time was fully booked so I checked this Hostal and thought it will be ok. Actually the location was very good central the Ramblas and very close to liceu metro station. The room was very clean but was not faced the main street... More

I stayed in this hostel on the Ramblas. It was my first time in a hostel, and my first time in Barcelona. The hostel was amazing, almost at hotel standard. I've stayed in 3 star hotels elsewhere in Spain and this was at a higher standard. The location is within easy reach of 2 metro stations and walking distance to... More

This was my first time staying in a hostel and so I was very dubious about how it would be. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised but not overwhelmed. The room was very basic, with three single beds quite close together, a shower room, a few shelves and a safe (which was free). Although basic, you didn't need much... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
