We stayed 6 nights there. As we just wanted to enjoy the Barcelonata Beach for these 6 days, we preferred this hotel as it was very close to the beach, you just need to walk for 15 minutes. The hotel room was ok but most of the rooms were not getting sunlight so we had to turn on the light even... More

Nice 4 star hotel. 5 minutes walking distance to Monument de Colom or The Ramblas. 1 minute walk from Passeig de Colom. 10 Minutes walk To Barcelona's Cathedral. Rooms are clean & spacious. Different sizes. New & modern Bathrooms (ours had only shower). There is a safe in the room but you have to ask for the key from the... More

We stayed three nights at this hotel in August. When we came in we got a warm welcome from the reception and went up to the room. The room had a bad damp smell and was unacceptable for us to stay in. We went down to the front desk and they Immediately agreed to give us another room. This room... More

My teenage son and I stopped for 2 nights in August. We loved everything about the hotel. Location - 2 mins from La Ramblas, 15 mins walk from Estacio de Franca, although with hindsight we wished we had got the bus from the airport rather than use the train. Our room had a very small balcony and we could open... More

A 3 minute walk from la rambla, superb location. Close to the beach about a 15 minute stroll past shops and places to eat. Hotel was pristine with a luxurious bathroom fantastic shower and super comfy beds. Beautiful old building with a modern but still traditional interior. When i booked there was only 2 rooms left, which did mean our... More

I stayed in this hotel for a week for my daughter's birthday. It's a beautiful, clean & spacious hotel close to the beach. La Rambla is only a few feet away, bus routes & train station 3 minute walk away. The rooms in this hotel are lovely, fully air conditioned, TV, fridge & safes provided. The bedroom & bathroom is... Stayed here to celebrate my partners birthday. It is In a perfect place for all the sites - a very short walk to La Rambla.and a range of restaurants. We didn't have breakfast which meant we got up and out. The hotel staff were helpful and took our luggage up to our room, which was a nice touch. We loved... More

This hotel is very good, not so expensive, brekfast is good and it is a lot of food, witch I associated with Spain. Medinacelli is very closd to Colomstatue and the beach. You have 3 steps to la rambla and plac catalunya. When I go to Spain I will chose one more time Medinacelli.

We booked this hotel as a last minute getaway and it was fantastic! :) We had not specified a twin or double room on booking and when we arrived were told we would have to have a twin for our first night (of 3) and then we would be moved. However, when we realised we had a 4th floor room... More

We visited this hotel in the middle of February 2014 to take in a barcelona football game. Originally we were booked into the Rialto hotel but due to there being no water at this hotel were "upgraded" to this hotel. Upon arrival we found that our passports had been stolen on the journey in. Not one member of staff could... More
