Inside this is a modern hotel with a lot of historic character and a really comfortable feel, great staff, beautiful rooms. Located just off Las Ramblas, on a small quiet Placa where you can sit out and have a drink looking over the marina, two minutes walk to the port. The hotel is on Carrer Ample which has many bars... My wife and I enjoyed our 3 night stay here. I did not know which area to book a hotel in and after reading other reviews on Tripadvisor I am very glad I chose this hotel and location. It is very close to the port and marina/ Rambla Del Mar, lots of nice shops and bar/restaurants in this area. It... More

This hotel is in a perfect spot for visiting Gaudi's buildings. It is a short walk to the metro station, an easy walk to several attractions, and also within reasonable walking distance of the seafood restaurants of Barcelonetta . We stayed in a room facing the square. It wasn't particularly noisy (I noted a previous reviewer said there were people... More

The hotel is very clean and cozy, nice staff and excellent location! the rooms are very large and spacious, the bed is very comfortable and the shower is clean and spacious . the breakfast is basic , for vegetarian like me there was no variety. But the hotel is great and stylish - I cannt waiting to visit it again.

Helpful staff, very clean and not a bad location. However room quite small and basic and no bar/coffee lounge. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room either. The breakfast was dire. Okay if you like toast, yoghurt and a bit of ham but that's basically it; certainly not worth the 16 euros they were charging for it.

Stayed here January 2014, perfect location for exploring Barcelona. Breakfast was very expensive and very disappointing, not one to be recommended wished we had opted to go to one of the cafés next to hotel, fraction of the cost. Staff generally helpful, room basic but very clean, no tea and coffee facilities. Certainly not 4 star hotel, but location is... More

We stayed at January 2014. Very good location, very close to the Las Ramblas and to the seashore. Interested designed at the patio , it’s a pity you can't upgrade your room (all the same kind and size) , suitable for 2 or max 3 person. Vey kind staff and helpful. Breakfast very standart and not change during 3 days... More

I stayed here in May 2013. Very good location, nice and kind staff, Interesting design, with some pieces of old furniture in the hall and patio. Close to the underground station, Las Ramblas, Columbus monument, port and the Maremagnum: shopping and fun center, together with the Aquarium. Brekfast room also well equipped, quality of food was satisfactory. My balcony was... More

We stayed there in December 2013/ Great location, very kind personnel, very nice design! The breakfast is OK, the rooms are also fine (cool showers!). The pillows are kinda odd, too rough, though. On a general note - I recommend this hotel!

I have just come back from a 4 day break from Barcelona, I was sceptical of this hotel before I left purely from some of the reviews below, however I found this hotel perfect for the four days we were here. The hotel was of a 'Gotic' design on the outside and quite modern inside with vending machines for drinks... More
