Great location, lots of great cafes nearby, short walk to the Placa Catalunya and La Ramblas. We had a clean, comfortable room on the quiet side of the building (away from street) which did not offer much of a view but that is fine if you're only there to sleep. Free bottled water is a nice touch. The only negative... More

Excellent location! if you are looking for a safe, great location than this is the place to stay. It is close to all the main attractions Desk personnel helpful enough. Free bottled water is a great feature. Rooftop is a nice feature but view is horrible. Rooms are very basic and tiny: not enough towels, no facecloths or napkins. Room... More

Excellently situated - everything seemed to be just 10 minutes away. Hotel clean & quiet. Staff very efficient and helpful. Restaurant was excellent and again the staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

This hotel is close to Les Rambles and so many tourist destinations and eateries are in close proximity, as are key subway and train stations. Nicely kept, comfortable rooms are minimalist and so don't plan to spend much time there! Water and coffee gratis is a nice touch, I have not taken advantage of its roof top space but may... More

We visited Barcelona from 7th- 13th sept for an interesting and relaxing city break staying in El Born. There is so much to see so we spent around €75 on the tour bus for a 2 day ticket and saw more than you would on foot. The city is so big you have to plan. We're certainly going to need... More

This hotel is located close to Plaza Catalunya, and is about 3 blocks off of La Rambla. There is mostly foot traffic in front of the hotel, and can be a little noisy at night on the weekend due to the terraza dining/drinking below. A continental breakfast was included, which was quite nice, and water bottles, coffee, and tea were... More

Stayed here 3 nights with my husband in sept-14. Pros - in the gothic quarter of Barcelona which is filled with heaps of good tapas bars and laneways within walking distance. We found it easy to walk around to most places we wanted to go. Each corridor at the end of floor had a huge fridge filled with free bottles... More

Ok, let's start with the negatives as that shouldn't take long. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms which is a pity, getting up at stupid o'clock in the morning to see all the sights on offer in this wonderful city took its toll and a caffeine injection would have been extremely useful! Only other negative was that the... More

The hotel is in the Gothic Quarter in a quiet street but close to all the sights. The room was spacious, clean & comfortable. It was lovely to be able to relax on the roof terrace & in the pool although it was out of action for one of the days we were there due to cleaning which seemed unnecessary... More

We stayed here for a weekend. The area is a bit run-down (El Born), but it has that artsy feeling and is bustling with nightlife, which is why we came here in the first place. The hotel has a modern although simplistic design and the staff is friendly. The pool at the roof top is good for dipping in, but... More
