If you are looking for somewhere in the heart of Barcelona then look no further. It's not cheap, but being in the Tapas bar area, near Picasso Museum and Gothic Quarter, it's a major plus. The room itself was comfortable although it had a view of a wall from the window. The pool area was crowded and the pool itself... More

I have just spent a few days in the hotel with my husband, it's a very clean hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the bar was closed for refurbishment but it was no problem as there are lovely bakeries and restaurants all around the hotel, it's in a great location, would definitely recommend it!

Stayed with my teen daughter on a vacation. Room was comfy, clean, quiet, modern. Price and location were right. Staff helpful. Wifi reliable. Easy walk to La Rambla, subway, La Barceloneta, Picasso Museum. Lovely rooftop pool and bar. I'd stay here agin.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Excellent location and value for money. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace and the outdoor pool. The facilities are quite basic but staff are very friendly and accommodating. The Borne district is very vibrant and can get quite noisy at night so ask for a room facing the back of the hotel.... The hotel is in an amazing location, within a trendy neighborhood-located near the Picasso's museum... The front desk was courteous and he held a smile! Yet, the best part is the cute room! ...loving my view of the street from the fourth floor #firsttrip2Spain

The beds were poor and room was outdated. A lot of noise from other guests and cleaning ladies. On the plus side, there was free bottled water available and the service was good. Friendly people. Location was great as well.

I stayed here for three nights and only slept for one. There was banging on my wall for one entire night and because of that, I was up expecting it the last night. The hotel is nice and clean though. The room was very nice…simple and clean. Great customer service. They offered free unlimited, cold, bottled water. I loved that.... More

Booked this hotel sight unseen and was pleasantly surprised at what we got. Great location in the Gotic district of the city literally a minute's walk from the Picasso Museum and just a little further from the Minor Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar -- a beautiful medieval church and square which brings together the maze of streets and alleyways... We stayed two nights in this hotel: we had a double room at the 5th floor, at its back side. This means that our room was really very quiet, no noise from the street, no noise from other rooms. Our window faced a small courtyard. The location is perfect: this quarter of the city has limited traffic in many of... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
