Hotel is located at the very center of an old part of the city. Terassa with a pool on the top is a place I have to be my next time in Barcelona. There veer some problems with the cold water in the shower, but everything was fixed during the next fifteen minutes. I would recommend this choice.

Was treated to a few nights here by my wife as a late birthday present. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a simple but tasty buffet. Free bottles of water were much appreciated. Location is very close to the top of the Rambla, but the narrow street is dark at night between the... More

Fantastic location, there is just so much to see and do within easy walking distance. Our room was on the third floor at the side, so no view but lovely and quiet. Large spotless room and big bathroom. View from the roof is great. We arrived 3 hours early for check-in but it was no problem and we were given... More

Not far from the main attractions but in a far nicer part of the city than the Ramblas etc. Here you will find different cafes and shops down narrow alleyways and beautiful old buildings on each side. Not far from the Picasso museum, you'll find some lovely bars nearby for tapas and music. The rooms were spotless, large and comfortable.... More

Went to this great little hotel for my fiancé's 40th birthday. For how much I paid, this hotel is superb. It's only a 10 minute walk to the ramblas, and the gothic district is great for twisty narrow little medieval alleys dotted with bars and restaurants, not to mention the shops, great architecture and basilicas. It's also very close to... More

We went there with our 11 year old son and stayed for a week. Loved it! Location perfect! Room was clean, free water bottles, friendly staff and we used the rooftop terrace every day. 15 min walk to the beach. Very close to Rambla, the zoo and Picasso museum. Wonderful icecream store across the street. We will return :)

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
