The hotel was in a great location for the Sagrada familia. The bus tours run from outside there and there is a metro station here also. Some nice bars/restaurants in walking distance too. Most things are a bit further away but we didn't find this a problem as transport networks are easy to get to and use. There are also... More

The hotel is well situated, clean and quite modern. But it didn't feel welcoming. Rooms were fine, overlooking back yards (no problem, but a fact). Close to metro and that Cathedral. 'Restaurant' used only for breakfast was noisy and canteen like, with every noise becoming and echo, echo... It was OK, staff overcame the hotel building shortcomings.

Booked this hotel for a long weekend to take in football match and city sightseeing. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful, and it is conveniently situated for sightseeing and close to local Metro station and sightseeing buses. Travelling mid February quite a few restaurants and bars weren't open, but enough were, and they all were good... More

I have just returned from this hotel. It was excellent. perfect location for seeing the city and just out of town enough to be peaceful. The metro is very cheap and the local station is only 200yds from the hotel with links to the whole city within 15mins. The staff were very friendly. The only hiccup was that the safe... More

As mentioned above we got this hotel through a groupon deal as part of a package with Barcelona football tickets. We only decided to go through groupon as we thought it would be difficult to find tickets for the games under 100euros each, how wrong we were! They were still selling tickets the day of the match and for only... More

Overview - I got a great deal on this hotel and I won't complain. It was totally worth the price. The hotel rooms are nice and clean and you have a safe. It is a 5 minute walk to the sagrada familia and there are a lot of restaurants within a 5 minute walking distance. Cons - The air conditioning... More

My partner and I looked long and hard into where to stay in Barcelona. Our decision was based upon the hotel's website and some good reviews on Tripadvisor. We chose to ignore some bad reviews, such as several about the air conditioning leaking, and gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt. We really liked the look of the hotel... More

We stayed at Hotel Sagrada Familia in June 2014. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. Staff were very pleasant, English spoken which always a bonus. Breakfast adequate to start the day off. Located just around the corner from the Sagrada Familia and the under ground. Complementary WIFI.

This was a perfectly adequate, clean hotel with very good service. There was a parking station to use just around the corner. Good location just around the corner from the Sagrada Familia. We were comfortable without anything spectacular. Suited us as we were sightseeing most of the time.

We arrived at the hotel on the 31st of January for 2 nights stay to watch the barcelona game. When we arrived the receptionist was very helpful, she spoke very good English and advised us of all the best places to eat and how to get to the nou camp on the metro! The room was spotless and modern, quite... More
