The room was small, but perfectly adequate for my trip, everything was clean. Not much soundproofing so did get a little noisy in the evenings. Breakfast was limited. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was always friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel's location is perfect - most of the main attractions are close and there are also public transport stations around. It's only a bit noisy because of the street.

I stayed here for a short break with my daughter and teenage grandson. The location is perfect, just 5/10 minutes walk to Las Ramblas and Gothic quarter. Its also not that far from Port Vell. The room was huge but basic, as was the bathroom. One member if staff was great, very welcoming, polite and knowledgable, another not so, however this... More

This is a very basic no-frills hotel. However, it was clean and tidy. The positives about this hotel is the location and the price. This is on a picturesque street with lots of little dining options outside and it's a lovely place to sit and eat outside in the sunshine and less crowded than the main Las Rambles areas. However,... The staff was very helpful and welcoming and the location was good next to a metro station and to many supermarkets and restaurants but that's about it concerning the good stuff. The room was poor to say the least with a small window facing a wall, no sun, no air, the bathroom glass door fell on our heads while showering... More

This hostel is walking distance from La Rambla, so a great place to be located for all the Barcelona sights. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing sightseeing ideas and tips on local transportation. If you arrive early or are leaving late, you can leave your luggage in a locker for just 2 Euros. Rooms are a little warn and there... More

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
