From entering the hotel was a dissapointment. The guy working at the reception did even say hello to us, he was rude and not helpful at all. He just told us the room number and floor and that s it. The room was very small, dirty, noisy. Even the matress was bad. Worst sleep ever. Poor breakfast. We checked out and found... More

We found this hotel more-or-less by accident after our pre-booked apartment fell through and after having had to take two nights in a nearby hostel; we stayed here for the rest of our holiday - five nights. The receptionist on duty when we called in to make enquiries (Susana) went out of her way to get us the best price... More

We stayed her for 3 nights in November. Hotel is in a great location; close to the metro and far enough away from the tourist locations so it was quite yet convenient to get to. It was also very clean and modern. Hotel security it also really good as you need to scan your card at all hours to get... More

While visiting our daughter in Barcelona my husband, daughter and I stayed at the BCN Hotel Del Comte. Besides the fact that it was down the street from her apartment it was a great hotel, very clean, spacious for being a triple and the staff helped us with all our travel needs. It has no amenities such as a pool,... More

We booked a 3-bed room using www.airtickets.gr and we were accommodated in room 219.To our surprise there was no fridge & the room was very small(a normal double bed and an extra bed). It seemed like a small double bed-room with an extra bed.We were bumping on to each other every time we needed move around the room. There were no... More

very small rooms for a three bed room. Breakfast was just the basic. I try to call the reception twice with no answer. the only plus was the daily change of towels and in general hotel was clean. decent for low budgets. a plus the bakery to a very near street. also the metro

Great easy location for aerobus and metro. Booked room 220 with queen bed and it was very spacious. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Massive bathroom/ wet room. Polite reception staff. Good breakfast although not too much choice left if you leave it til late! 2 bikes for rental at the hotel costing 7 euros per day .. Good price! Felt... More

The main positive about this hotel is the easy access from the airport bus. The area in which it is located is also nice, but other reviewers are right when they say it is a 15+ minute walk to Plaza Catalunya. There are lots of places close by to eat and the area feels safe to walk around at night.... More

In retrospect, the local transportation is good enough, so I could select hotel farther from the city center with better services. Just imagine that my first impression of the hotel began even before entering the hotel, as the odor of the street garbage was so strong. Then, after getting the key to my room I was shocked by the size... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
