Great choice we made when we choose this little hotel - very well located in the heart of Eixample. This is an area of Barcelona which is more typical with not so many tourists. Metro Urgell at the corner of the street and easy to walk to the Ramblas and Bari Gotic too. Gay friendly in the streets around and... More

Very convenient for airport bus and metro although you could easily miss the bus stop when coming from the airport. Hotel clean and helpful reception staff. Buffet breakfast good but did run out of fresh bread.15-20 minute walk to centre of Barcelona, but felt safe enough at night. A few local restaurants and bars.

From the entering the hotel impression was rather strange, hotel looks like a apartment not the hotel, man on duty rather like security guard not the receptionist, but check-in without problems. We had a room inside the building, with window entering into the patio. Very dark, windows without the semin-courtains, just with heavy curtain. In the front of our window... More

On arrival we were given an upgrade which was a nice surprise. After inspection of the room we discovered one of the legs of the bed was broken and staff helped by moving us from the room straight away. The hotel was good quality for the price. Clean and the interior was nice enough. Bed was comfortable and shower/bath was... More

Booked the hotel last minute at a great price, rooms smaller than expected but made up for it in other ways, air con was only sending out warm air which was too warm for us, good selection of complimentary toiletries, excellent security including safe in the room, staff very helpful, easy to get to the main areas either by foot... From entering the hotel was a dissapointment. The guy working at the reception did even say hello to us, he was rude and not helpful at all. He just told us the room number and floor and that s it. The room was very small, dirty, noisy. Even the matress was bad. Worst sleep ever. Poor breakfast. We checked out and found... More

We found this hotel more-or-less by accident after our pre-booked apartment fell through and after having had to take two nights in a nearby hostel; we stayed here for the rest of our holiday - five nights. The receptionist on duty when we called in to make enquiries (Susana) went out of her way to get us the best price... More

We stayed her for 3 nights in November. Hotel is in a great location; close to the metro and far enough away from the tourist locations so it was quite yet convenient to get to. It was also very clean and modern. Hotel security it also really good as you need to scan your card at all hours to get... More

While visiting our daughter in Barcelona my husband, daughter and I stayed at the BCN Hotel Del Comte. Besides the fact that it was down the street from her apartment it was a great hotel, very clean, spacious for being a triple and the staff helped us with all our travel needs. It has no amenities such as a pool,... More

We booked a 3-bed room using www.airtickets.gr and we were accommodated in room 219.To our surprise there was no fridge & the room was very small(a normal double bed and an extra bed). It seemed like a small double bed-room with an extra bed.We were bumping on to each other every time we needed move around the room. There were no... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
