This is the first time I ever travelled to Barcelona and I think this is probably the best place to stay when you're here. I found the recommendation for this stay in the Time Out travel guide and it was no joke. The service is by far the best I've ever seen. The crew at Bonic is incredibly friendly and... more

My mother and I stayed at Bonic for three nights and loved it. From our very arrival (where we were greeted at the door and offered a cool drink), the staff did their best to make sure we were comfortable. In particular, Fernando has a vast knowledge of things to do and places to eat in Barcelona (and is more... more

I stayed at Bonic for two nights when in Barcelona for a conference. As a lone female traveller I very much appreciated the personal, helpful service provided by staff. Everything was provided for (e.g. mineral water, free internet access, wee kitkat on pillow!). The bathrooms were immaculately clean and always available when required so please do not let the lack... more

Bonic has it all! The location couldn't be better with everything (including public transport) right at your doorstep. Rooms are clean and the breakfast healthy and hearty. The real advantage that the place enjoys is that Fernando and his team go absolutely out of their way to do everything they can to make the stay enjoyable. Which for us included... more

Your stay at Bonic starts with Fernando or Richard greeting you at the front doorof the building (no "buzzing you up") and finishes the same way. It is an insight of the service these guys deliver from start to finish. The place itself is charming and exceptionally clean and tidy. The rooms are not big, but they are nicely decorated... more

Nine out of ten. One lost point because more storage in the room would be useful, and public areas were a little chilly in a cold spell. Otherwise much as previous reviews. Manager is charm and help personified. Breakfast OK, with good bread, croissants coffee and fruit. Decor very smart, minimal chic, throughout. Quiet and secluded despite handy location just... more

I had 3 nights at Bonic with my partner in January and it was fabulous. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had shared bathrooms but with 3 provided there were plenty to go around, amongst the 6 B&B rooms. From the time we booked our stay online to the day we checked out Fernando provided us with every tidbit... more

This is a very belated review! I stayed here in 2006 and it was the best accommodation I had on my entire European trip. I have been prompted to review it now as I am returning to Barcelona and was unable to get a booking, so am very disappointed I can't stay there again! The location is fantastic, it was... more

First of all, I would recommend this B&B to all my friends who are going to stay in Barcelona. And I would go there again when making another trip to this wonderfull city. The location is ideal for tourists; in a quiet side street of the Ramblas on the the sea-side close to metro-stop Drassanes. Fernando - the host during... more

If you are not expecting any bells and whistles, this is the place for you. The Bonic is in a great location close to the beach end of the Ramblas, yet a few dozen meters into a side street so that noise is not a problem. It is simply but beautifully decorated, and very calm. Bathrooms are kep spotless by... more
