We selected this hotel because they had the lowest priced double room in Barcelona, and Wi-Fi in the rooms (at 8 Euros per day). Hotel Ronda Lesseps is a long way out of town, and not very near the Metro. It is about ten minutes walk from Park Guell, but only because they have put escalators in the hilly parts and steep steps on the backstreets you walk along. the other side of the hotel is a huge building site and a large roundabout... more

The hotel is VERY good value for your money since it is on average around 60 Euros a night. We weren't able to find any other comparable hotels in a decent location at that price. I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in Oct 05. The rooms are better than you would find in a good 4-star hotel despite it being a 3-star hotel.
