I love that they have a snack/coffee bar that is FREE 24/7. Also the furnishings and shared spaces are really uniquely designed. Free bikes too! The room had a lovely outdoor patio with a table a chairs. So close to all the goo eating areas of Barcelona...

The hotel looks nothing like a standard hotel. This is a really cool value-for-money boutique experience in Born, one of Barcelona's trendier neighborhoods. The location is great and the Jaume I metro station is close by. I could easily walk to areas like the Gothic Quarter, the Arc de Triomf and Placa Catalunya. There are some nice bars in the... More

We found this hotel on TA (came highly recommended) but we were even more surprised - it is so unique and outstanding from the friendly staff to the beaded curtains to a fully equipped gym to the Nespresso coffee centre - just superb. Brilliantly located in the heart of Born with easy access to buses, metro etc. The marble staircase... More

Very nice location, and extremely friendly and helpful staff. But the rooms a disappointment. Already the smell in the corridors is not very nice, but the room was itself smelling bathroom ( not the soap unfortunately) . They very kindly switched my room but still after a shower there is a not so nice smell. Perhaps I'm too sensitive, or... More

Lovely hotel. The room is very trendy and fun. The staff was very helpful. You can get a buffet breakfast i the lobby for about 9EU or coffee and a croissant for about 3 EU. My deal included free bicycle use, but I found out too late that you need to reserve the bikes before they run out. Recommended.

Very cool and mysterious entry door, and beautiful rooms in a beautiful building. Well located to the beautiful born area of barcelona which boasts narrow streets with high buildings. Highly recommend this hotel. Reasonably priced, friendly staff.

What can I say! A lover of quirky boutique hotels with high standards! I booked this hotel for a 30th birthday surprise for my girlfriend! The service was amazing! Your left completely to your own devices ... A chill area to help yourself to coffee , drinks etc in a secure building. Nothing was too much trouble.. Extra pillows, adapter... More

Awesome location in Barcelona and very friendly and helpful staff. Great stay. Rooms are modern, clean, and a bit funky (mood lighting!). Appreciated the lounge on the guest floor with free coffee, water, and biscuits. Free wifi. Room a bit small but perfect for 1 person. Hotel very close to two Metro lines as well as a huge park. Highly... More

They were able to check us in over 4hours early. The reception offered is help and had we needed anything I've no doing they would have done their best to... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
