Repeating just about every review on Tripadvisor it was noisy. Emergency vehicles use the road at night and rush hour traffic starts early. That is the downside. The room was booked on a Groupon deal as was very cheap. It is clean enough with an adequate breakfast (continental/American). Easy short walk to metro (excellent meals in O'Retorno by station).

We stayed here as part of a groupon deal and have to admit it was cheap as chips and Barcelona is a fantastic city but the hotel was on a very busy, very noisy road. We had read this previously so bought our own ear plugs. Even with the ear plugs we got very minimal sleep in this hotel. I... More

My husband and I have just returned from a 3 night stay booked as part of a Groupon offer. The hotel was basic but clean, no frills but entirely sufficient for our needs. 30 minutes from the airport in a cab and a good location to explore the city. Would recommend to others looking for clean basic accommodation.

The hotel is on a very busy road with no double glazing ! The room was ok however the bathroom was very small and once in there you had to close the door as it filled the room. The room was freshened up everyday , however we both suffered from aligies as the blankets on the bed seemed dusty and... More

We stayed here Saturday-Monday as a weekend break. The bedroom was fairly small but clean and towels were fresh etc. There were only a few things to pick up on such as there not being a safe for valuables in the room and no air conditioning. Other than that it was okay. (I'd advise taking your own pillows though ours... More

We stayed for a week, if it was a short stay I'd recommend it. Great value and clean. However longer than 2/3 days you'll pull you're hair out. The AirCon is shared with all rooms and controlled from reception, so no chance of controlling and getting to the right temp. And if you want the windows open, it's way to... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Thankfully read previous comments on trip advisor and requested a room at the back of the hotel, where the noise is considerably reduced. The bathroom was flooded twice from the upstairs occupants on the 2 consequitive mornings we were there. Staff al beit polite, not overly helpful. Don't be tempted to leave your luggage there for... The hotel is in very poor condition, scruffy bathroom with tiles missing off the walls,We were in a room at the front of the hotel and it was like trying to get to sleep at the side of the M1 the traffic didn't stop all night. The bed was so Uncomfortable we both had terrible bad backs,it spoilt our visit to Barcelona.

our room was very spacious, clean and very warm but they had aircon and windows, The breakfast was amazing a huge buffet or meats, eggs, fresh fruit all laid out exceptionally. Also they had a swimming pool and jacuzzi and a roof top which was very clean, the only downside was it closed and opened at a certain time. I... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
