The hotel has a good location! Convenient to travel around the city center on foot! Close to public transport infrastructure. Hotels content matches the description. According to my point of view a good price-quality ratio! I recommend!

This hostal, with an undoubted great location and very helpful on-the-ground-staff, is ill-suited for foreign visitors because of its unsanitary conditions and lack of a good customer-service culture. If you would like to enjoy your vacations in Barcelona, don´t stay there. My room with private bath had cockroaches, mold in the bathroom, a broken shower, a broken refrigerator and a... More

My friend and I stayed in a private room for two nights and we loved our room as it came with a TV and a balcony. The staff on site was very friendly and helpful, and was great at doing her job. However, within 10 minutes of arriving the owner came in to our room to hang up a picture,... More

Booked this hostal as our base while visiting for the motogp , great position only minutes walk from the passieg de Gracia station and nice and close to la ramblas and lots of other Barcelona attractions , plus sides were the helpful staff , inclusive continental breakfast , clean onsuite rooms (which seemed hard to find in the centre of... I stayed here for two nights and the place was exactly what I needed. You don’t have to pay out a lot of money and you get what you pay for. The hotel check in stops at 6pm but you can check in their sister hotel just two blocks away, so please do mention your check in time! The breakfast... More

It is a rewarding hotel. It was good to have wifi and a proper breakfast (included in the price). The location is excellent and is affordable. I stayed two nights and it was really great for to visit the city.

Quite hard to find. It's one of the smaller hostels in Barcelona and no sign on the building. Look out for no 60 Carrer de Balmes and an apartment style door entrance with buzzers. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean but bedding does seem old and not necessarily the most appealin but nothing wrong with it. Hostel... More

Arrived in frantic Barcelona in the midst of Grand Prix fever and paid 90 euros per night for a 3 night stay. I can tell you that I was not at all impressed. Due to a flight delay we arrived after 6pm and had to collect the keys from a couple of blocks away. Not easy with 40kg of luggage.... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
