This was the first hostel I've ever stayed at and it still is the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The staff was SO NICE and everything was extremely clean. They have individual lockers to keep your stuff in so you don't have to worry about anything being stolen. Every night they make dinner, which is SO GOOD and worth... More

Stayed here for a long weekend with some mates and couldn't ask for more really. Rooms are fairly small, however the common rooms are big and numerous and well equipped. Staff were great and there were activities on every night. Can get a bit rowdy so if you're looking for somewhere quieter try the other sant jordi hostel as they... More

If arriving from the Airport by Bus to the Plaza de Catalyuna (an easy, direct 25 minute journey) the hostel was a quick 5 minute walk from the drop off point. Upon arrival, the friendly staff gave us a tour of the spotless residence, providing information about local attractions which we could see during our stay. Towels were a cheap... More

I couldn't booked in advance and had just e-mailed the morning of my arrival to check availability. The directions provided on their site was spot on and I got there without any trouble. Upon arrival, Mikal promptly checked me in and showed me the room. I had two pleasant days without any issue and was satisfied with my stay -... More

Sant jordi is a great place to stay and mingle, the chill out spaces and lounge areas make it easy to get to know everyone and with a pub crawl every night you can't go wrong. Also the kitchen spaces are great if you need to save a bit of money and cook some home meals

This place prides itself on being a party hostel and it doesn't disappoint - they gather everyone up every night and take them to various pubs and clubs. So being a party hostel you would think it would be pretty average in terms of cleanliness - which is NOT the case. The entire place was VERY clean. There was good... More

I stayed here for about a week. Based on the pictures and reviews I imagined this place being very immaculate. I was a little disappointed that the condition was similar to other hostels. The staff is amazing and goes out of their way to make sure every one is enjoying themselves. I did not like that their was not a... More

This is not your typical hostel, but rather a party hostel. The staff here is very helpful and totally cool. They help you out with places to visit in Barcelona and booking of tickets. Do buy your discounted tickets to Razzmatazz Club from them. Every night there is a pub crawl and club visit, where entry is free for all... More

Everything about this hostel is great! The rooms, cleanliness, bathrooms, and atmosphere. Each night the hostel plans something for dinner (home made or eating out) and also a bar/club to go to as a group. We walk to the bar and meet up with other hostels then walk to the club and pay no entrance fee. This is definitely a... More

I have travelled all over the world a & stayed in all manner of places from 1-5 star hotels, hostels & B&Bs I can tell you this is THE worst place I've ever been. DO NOT look at the photos - they do not represent anything like it really is. Competitively priced should not normally mean poor. However , having... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
