Initially the train ride wasn't to bad (it is so far away it's not a part of the metro) despite the distance we arrived easily enough. After stepping into the Spanish bush/wilderness we were greeted with a 500m plus journey to the "hostel"... This wouldn't faze us normally however it is up a VERY steep windy road and with Spanish... ****AVOID THIS PLACE**** There's a plenty of hostels in Barcelona (even in the city center) cheaper and better that this one. Let's start: -If you want to live longer, AVOID EATING IN THIS PLACE. I've have eaten in bad places, but this one has the star for being the worst EVER. :) - The rooms are ok, it's a hostel.... More

We stayed here for one night in March 2014. Our dorm slept around 10-12 people, but there were only 6 of us that night. The room had everything we needed - lockers, big bathroom, mirrors and charging points. The hostel has it's own pool and basketball court. Up the hill from the main building are what looked like chalets. Good... More

I went there in summer 2013. Everything is good good, facilities, food, staff, environment, etc.. They are employing handicapped people, creating the job opportunity for them and they are so sweet and kind. p/s: i love their breakfast as well.

The hostel is at the top of a hill outside the city, its quiet and peaceful, you see all the wildlife, my favourite being the wild boar. Though saying that it was extremely easy to get to the centre of barca on the metro. The hostel has seen better days, BUT it has charm and was clean, its run by... More

The hostel is easily reached from the centre of Barcelona -take the S1 or S2 lines from Placa Catalunya and get off at Baixador Vallvidrera -it only takes about 15 minutes . The hostel is easy to find -just straight up the hill from the station and is well signposted .Yes, the hill is very steep and windy -it can... More

If you're looking for a 5 star hotel, do not stay here. The rooms could do with more thorough cleaning and the pool is absolutely freezing. However, if you're after a relaxing trip, with fantastic customer service, cheap wine & beer, and incredible views, then I would highly recommend it here. At the end of a busy day sight seeing... For sure it's not the best hostel in Barcelona but it has a nice natural environment around and it is hosting a lot of activities for people with special needs. It is runned by these people and for sure the travel from the town worth all the time :)
