This hotel was perfect. It has a fantastic location, 10minutes(or so) walk to the sagrada familia and right next to the monumental metro station, making it very easy to explore the city. The staff were very attentive, helping us make bookings for tourist attractions and looking after our luggage after we checked out. The room itself was clean modern and... More

We stayed in this hotel because it was a five minute walk to Gaudi's Sagrada Familia basilica. Our top floor room with balcony looked right at the church and over Barcelona. Our room was spacious, quiet and nicely finished in a modern style

Small, friendly hotel with clean spacious rooms. Hotel is near a main road so there is some traffic noise but not excessive. Staff friendly and very helpful when we asked for advice. The Monumental metro station is right next to hotel, which is really useful, as although it's near the Sagrada Familia, most of the other sights are too far... More

The Hotel is a nice hotel nearby the Sagrada Famiglia. The rooms are clean and pretty modern. The staff is kind and helpful. If you are lucky you can get a room with a view on the the Sagrada Famiglia. For visiting the other parts of the city the hotel is a bit less convenient, but if you don't mind... More

We have been to Barcelona 2 times, and both times we have stayed at this hotel. The benefits of this hotel are: Location -close to La Sagrada familia (from where you also can take the hop-on-hop-off busses) -close to the metro, only 2-3 minutes walk from the Monumental station Quite good prices Quite spacious rooms Good beds (maybe a bit... We stayed in the hotel few days ago. At first sight it was a clean place with a lovely staff at the reception. Room was tiny but very nice and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. The fact that we had 3 pillows each helped a lot. Bathroom was clean but instead of faulty massage shower I would have chosen a... More

Stayed at the Eurostar Monumental for 2 nights, and it was a great little hotel. Probably not the 4 star hotel it lists itself as. Ideal location being a short 5 minute walk from La Sagrada Familia, and Staff were on the whole very friendly, and helpful and the rooms were clean and tidy. However, this hotel would be greatly... We've stayed there 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The location is great - 100 meters from the Monumental metro station (just a few stops to downtown) and 5 min walking to Sagrada Familia. The hotel itself is modern and really nice. Our room was on the 6th floor, pretty large and with awesome view of Sagrada Familia. Bathroom was... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
