3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2015

We stayed in the hotel few days ago. At first sight it was a clean place with a lovely staff at the reception. Room was tiny but very nice and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. The fact that we had 3 pillows each helped a lot. Bathroom was clean but instead of faulty massage shower I would have chosen a... More

Stayed at the Eurostar Monumental for 2 nights, and it was a great little hotel. Probably not the 4 star hotel it lists itself as. Ideal location being a short 5 minute walk from La Sagrada Familia, and Staff were on the whole very friendly, and helpful and the rooms were clean and tidy. However, this hotel would be greatly... We've stayed there 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The location is great - 100 meters from the Monumental metro station (just a few stops to downtown) and 5 min walking to Sagrada Familia. The hotel itself is modern and really nice. Our room was on the 6th floor, pretty large and with awesome view of Sagrada Familia. Bathroom was... More

Superb view of the Sagrada Familia Basilica from my room, and very good connectivity with other sightseeing monuments. Walking distance to the Sagrada Familia and next to a metro station. A basket ball court and a good large park near the hotel for morning exercise. The hotel is on the main road and has nice budget eating places and super... More

Everything looked like it was a good 3* hotel - Service, breakfast, locaion. The only worth thing there is the view of Sagrada Familia from top floors and a spacious terrace in a junior suite. Notice that is it located close to Sagrada Familia, but all other sights are quite far.

We stayed in this hotel in the beginning of this month. I should say that we've been in Barcelona and stayed in 4 star hotel before. So I had some expectations and this one didn't meet them at all. Rooms look pretty much like on the pictures but the problem with the pictures is that you can't see details, you... More

Best thing about this hotel is the location. Amazing view of the Basilica Segrada from our room and easy connectivity to many attractions as well as transportation. Staff was very friendly and responsive. However, room quality was good, but not great. Maintenance was average: we encountered choked basins and a dangerously detached window pane in our room. Overall an average... More

We stayed at this hotel at the end of a cruise. It was our first trip to Barcelona. It was very close to the port, close to Basilica de Sagrada Familia and to the Hop on Hop off bus. We enjoyed out stay, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, modern, and spacious. We would definately recommend it.... More

Stayed here for two nights. Location of the hotel is very good, only 2 stops and you're in the center (p.de gracia). Sagrada familia is just around the corner and rooms we stayed in both had the view to it. We changed rooms since the first one had broken bath tub and tv wasn't working. The staff was helpful and... During our 4 day stay in Barcelona my wife and I stayed here. The staff was always very helpful, and the room was nice and clean. The free wifi had a strong connection, which was handy for purchasing tickets from the hotel. The room is fairly small, and the mattress is very firm, but the pillows are fantastic. Our power... Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
