I will start with the good points: - excellent location, near Sagrada Familia, we could see from our window Sagrada. The metro station was near hotel (30 seconds walking) - nice and helpful staff Bad points: - very small room and I mean really small. But I've noticed there are larger rooms in the hotel, I don' t know if... More

I went 5 days in Barcelona with my boyfriend and it has been a really good experience. The Hotel Eurostar Monumental is very well situated: near the Sagrada Familia and many subway's stops (it is really easy to travel the city). Our room was so nice! I would even say very elegant. It was confortable too. Breakfast was really good... More

This hotel is something of a step down from the Eurostar Das Letras in Portugal, but it was at least adequate. My wife and I arrived after a rather lengthy day of travel, and were quickly checked in by two very helpful desk attendants. We were somewhat dismayed that our room was a bit cramped (in comparison to the Eurostar... More

What I liked: Nice view. Large size of the room and its cleanness. Friendly staff. Its proximity to the metro station. And what I disliked: Wifi DID NOT work at all. I emphasise again, no wifi in the room. You must go down stairs to the lobby to have Wifi access! The room was extremely hot and was impossible to... More

If you are planning to explore the city on foot, it will take a while (app. 30 min) for you to get to the center (Gothic area). Otherwise, metro station is quite close. Our room was clean thanks to a very kind staff. The main problem was floor heating that could not be turned off, so the room was constantly... More

Nice and very clean hotel!! I expected a little bit more considering that is a 4 stars hotel and it is not directly in the center! Reception staff very kind and helpful, i expected more from the breakfast as well, 11€ per person and almost all the products were not fresh so dont pay for it and go somewhere instead!... More

Stayed here for three nights while visiting Barcelona in September! Only about five minutes walking distance to Sagrada Familia which is a plus. Room was ok but wooden floor made it a little noisy. Also I thought the walls were either too thin or not well sound proofed. Elevator sometime is a little too slow to show up. It was... More

The hotel was clean, quiet, very conveniently located, and serviced by very helpful staff. The beds were very comfortable and the electric outlets were conveniently located beside each bed. The shower tub floor was a bit slippery. I would stay there again.

Stayed here over the weekend while going to see barcelona play. Hotel was nice, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was also very nice. The room had a great view of the sagrada which was a plus. They however have wooden floors so you can hear other people walking around at night walls seemed to be... More

First, the location. The hotel is less than a block from the Monuments metro stop, so we took the Aerobus from the airport, transferred to the Metro at University and were there just a few minutes later. Now, the staff. To avoid the lines at all of the Gaudi attractions and museums, it is essential to book on line but... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
