The hotel is comfortable, in a strategic position (near the L3 underground) and quite good. The bad things are the bathroom, with the indecent shower, and the cleaning that were unfortunately performed only twice per week. In my opinion also the kitchen is not so good...there were a lot of expired goods, also in the fridge. In brief...good but they... More

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Zoo Loco. This 'guesthostel' is situated about a 5 minute walk uphill from Poble Sec metro, walk straight up Carrier Radas and it's straight in front if you (note that there is 2 or 3 supermarkets on route). You can walk from pl.Espanya but it's nearer 20 minutes walking time. The... More

Great place and a wonderful, comfortable room (we booked one with balcony). The kitchen was full applied with everything you need to cook breakfast, lunch, dinner or whatever...you just need the fresh goods, as your home! The stuff was warm and helpful. On the top of all...the terrace, where you can chill at the sofas, or have a romantic dinner... More

Very friendly staff and they were so helpful. Location was excellent. The common spaces were clean and comfortable. I felt that it was really worth the cost. The terrace was beautiful and very relaxing. Really great place to have a glass of wine and chill out at the end of the day.

Spent 4 nights here and love this place. Really friendly staff and nice rooms, the roof terrace is awesome, really nice place to send your evenings and have a really nice couch to chill out on. Had a great stay here and would definitely recommend this to others and would love to stay here again in the future :)

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. Steve owner/manager greeted us in the morning and got us checked in. Afterwards he sat down with us on the beautiful roof top terrace and went over the city with us on a map and explained where everything was and how to get around.... More

AMAZING! Great staff, great location, great rooms. The terrace on the roof is the best place to spend your evenings. The kitchen is well organized: identified cupboards for each room, plenty of space in the fridges.

We had a amazing stay at zoo LoCo, Steve and Jonathan took their time to help us and made us feel very welcome. The city is very close and we rented a scooter and saw the most amazing places. The neighborhood is amazing, cute little bars and supermarkets with fresh fruit and veggies. Metro was very close and the city... More

Steve and Jonathan were very welcoming and helpful. I was provided with a detailed instruction on how to get to the hotel from the airport and to my conference centre. The hotel was well placed for my conference at the Olympic stadium. The public transport is just outside, a very good Italian restaurant few doors away and shops within a... More

Also its located close to Miro Museum and to L3 metro wich allows to go to everywhere in the city. The hotel has a very nice comum area and it... More

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
