Just came back from a 3-night stay at Casa Camper. This is the best city hotel I have stayed in. They've got it just right - 5-star customer service but not in an obtrusive way. All the facilities you could want to make you feel at home. Not stuffy, relaxed, friendly. You are invited to make yourself feel at home.... More

Absolutely excellent hotel - from the room, staff, everything made our first visit to Barcelona exceptional. We celebrated our wedding anniversary whilst there and were greeted with a bottle of Cava on arrival. I also went there to take part in the Barcelona Triathlon and all the staff were interested in how I got on etc. The open buffet area... More

We enjoyed a 2 night stay at Casa Camper and had a fantastic time. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The rooms (bedroom and lounge area) were clean and bright - great shower and very comfortable bed. The 24 hour snack bar is great too. The hotel has a great location and is very accessible.... More

We've stayed here twice with our kids (6 and under) and it's the best place for a family stay in Barcelona (or anywhere!) The suite rooms can accomodate the kids in the living area so you don't have to get a second room and they love the hammock in the room; it's good for hours of swinging fun. The lounge/snack... We stayed here for our first visit to Barcelona. The hotel is great and has a sense of humor combined with functionality and a designer flair. We had a suite and enjoyed our stay enormously. The staff were amazing. Always friendly and they provided exceptional service continuously. We are looking forward to the opportunity to return... and to try our... More

Had heard from friends that this was a good place to stay to really experience Barcelona. They were correct. The location near to Las Ramblas but not too near was just perfect for us. I enjoy staying in lively parts of towns and this area was great lots of cafes, galleries and retro clothes shops. The staff were exceptionally helpful... More

Casa Camper is an original design hotel, supported by a strong brand. It promotes a wholistic approach to well-being through a well-balanced mix of user-friendliness and efficiency. The concept is advertised throughout the hotel until the most private areas of your room: a sign posted onto the lift advises you to take the stairs, but only going down on your... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
