This was our first visit to Barcelona, and we picked the best hotel for us. Casa Camper was our home away from home and the reason for this was not only the amazing accommodation but because of the fantastic staff who ensure that everyone staying at Casa Camper has the best Barcelona experience they can. We stayed in a suite,... More

Best hotel we stayed at whilst in Spain. Friendly and very helpful staff. Thank you Casa Camper for making our last week in Spain so good! Not car friendly....come by taxi. No in house restaurant but too many choices near by. Does have a 24 hour free snack bar and breakfast is supplied as part of your daily rate.

Casa Camper kicked off our European vacation with amazing hospitality, style and comfort! After traveling for 3 hours in a car to get to the airport and 8 hours on a plane, we were grateful to stay at this wonderful hotel. From the front desk, to the fantastic breakfast to our beautiful room, it was hard to stay just for... More

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of Barcelona. Located right off the main street of La Ramblas, you have access to everything from shopping, restaurants, historic sites you name it... the list goes on. For starters, the staff is five star. Everyone here was really accommodating to all of our needs. There is a 24hr cafe downstairs... More

This hotel is one of the most special we've ever stayed. The sleek modern décor with red walls and minimalist furnishings makes it unique to start with. In addition, we got outstanding service, extra-large rooms, and amenities such as free breakfast and free snacks all day long! The staff is incredibly friendly, starting us off with a quick tour of... More

This hotel more than lives up to its reputation. Staff couldn't be lovelier or more gracious- Archie is an artist behind the bar and makes the most delicious cocktails. New corner suites very comfortable, roof top deck most enjoyable and the food offerings throughout the day are terrific. Thank you for all that you do!

Casa Camper is by far one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Service was outstanding from check-in throughout our stay. Friendly and knowledgeable staff went out of their way over and over again to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. 24 hour snacks could really be considered almost a full cafeteria, with healthy and very tasty selections...soda, coffee,... The staff and facilities were great. Very nice breakfast. Having open refreshments 24/7 is a fabulous idea. Location is ideal for sightseeing -- not a great place if a beach vacation is what you have in mind (which is possible in Barcelona). Our accommodations were two rooms separated by a hallway. That worked just fine. If you don't like that... More

The front desk staff are just as valuable as the Concierge staff at any hotel [Flour Seasons, Pan Pacific, Marriott, etc.] where we have stayed. The breakfast and the snacks/soft drinks during the day more than satisfied our needs and the cooks were really helpful [and included in the room price - a real asset for people traveling with teenagers].... My wife and I spent 5 nights/days at Casa Camper Hotel. The entire experience was absolutely positive in every aspect possible. The staff from Reception to Foot Services was extraordinary--efficient, wonderfully hospitable and friendly, and accommodating in all areas. We have already recommended this Hotel to friends going to Barcelona and will do so for others also. In addition, were... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
