I had a double room for single use with breakfast. Room was clean, big bed, spotless bathroom. Very helpful and friendly reception staff- they know the "secrets" of the city, they will provide maps and do everything they can to make your visit pleasant. For me breakfast was enough- coffee (and hot milk); tea; toast; butter; jam; fresh fruits; yogurt;... More

Hotel is located right in the heart of the city centre, within few minutes walking distance from Placa de Catalunya, really good value. It's a perfect stop over for tourists. Room was spotlessly clean and was serviced every day. We had an issue at first night, there was a really bad smell in the bathroom (room J on 6th floor),... More

This hotel is near the Placa Catalunya so being by the main square is the only good thing about this hotel. The room is tiny, smelly, not aired out before guests arrive, staff unfriendly, shower doesn't work, lol, drips out water in little drops so you cannot shower, the bed spread was old and moldy. The balcony is so small,... More

I stayed two days in Marvi and I really loved it. Very convenient to reach airport by bus, good to visit famous spots and nice for shopping. Rooms were very clean and reception staffs were pretty kind. I was satisfied hotel marvi and if I visit Barcelona again, I would stay there.

The hotel was in a very good location, right on a main street, and next to a metro station, close to Placa Catalunya and the centre of the city. The receptionists were very friendly and happy to help, giving us a map of the city to help us find our way around. The reception was 24 hours meaning you could... More

Very good location, Metro stops almost outside the door, Aerobus from airport goes to the square next to the metro, 5 minute walk from Placa Catalunya and La Rambla. Receptionists were very helpful and nice, room smelt slightly of smoke when we first went in but cleared quickly. The Wifi was incredibly fast and completely free, everything was very clean,... We were traveling by train. The hotel is close to bus , metro and train stations. Clean place with very friendly staff. Walk to rambla takes 5 min. Small bars are nearby, also places for breakfast. Pleasant stay, coming back.

Stayed in this Hotel in the beginning of June, it's absolutely fine for its 2 stars and perfectly located - very close to the old town and La Rambla. The room was clean and neat, TV and Air conditioner worked. The only thing why i did put 4 stars - our room had its windows to internal yard so no... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
