I stayed in forn 6 nights at the hotel. We got a lovely & comfortable roome. The bathroom was big and clean, as well as the room. The staff was polite and helped us, searching answers every time we needed.

The hotel is in a great location and fantastic for sightseeing. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was basic but clean. A mini fridge would have been helpful as there wasn't one. Breakfast was basic -rolls and jam and a fruit salad which didn't change. A nice place for a city break.

I stayed at the Hotel Marvi for 3 nights in between Christmas and new year. It is a great little hotel in a fantastic location, literally a 20 second walk from the Metro station. Yes, it is basic but that is reflected in the price that is paid and for its location, in my mind its amazing! The staff were... More

This hotel is extremely shabby and smelly. It is in a great location but I would not recommend staying here if you are planning on spending time in the hotel. For breakfast its also one piece of brown bread and one butter. Nothing else. You can have coffee if you want but dont expect much from this place. It is... More

Stayed here in October 2006 and loved this little hotel. Couldn't book the Marvi when we returned to Barcelona in Jan 2010, so 'sadly' had to try another hotel. However, having just returned from spending 2 nights at the Marvi at the end of November, I wish I hadn't been able to book the Marvi this time! The room (at... More

We arrived in Barcelona early in the morning without a hotel reservation so took a taxi from the cruise ship terminal to Catalunya Square. The tourist kiosk wasn't open so I suggested to my husband that we find a McDonald's or Starbucks right away. He looked at me like I was completely nuts (he's always had a cushy company paid... More

Clean huge room with a nice balcony and views of the city. Reception was professional and made their safe available for our cash & passports. Breakfast was minimal however, we could make use of a fridge for our drinks. Wonderful restaurants within walking distance. We wondered the back streets and found wonderful local places to eat at very reasonable prices.... More

Perfect location between Universitat and Plaça Catalunya, good standard at a reasonable price, and free wifi that works very well. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and I will probably choose this hotel again the next time I visit Barcelona. Only one warning: The breakfast is a joke, but there are plenty of nice bars and restaurants in the... More

Pros: Very very clean (they cleaned and changed towels, toilet paper, shampoos every day). Very comfortable room (big room and bathroom, also had a mini desk). Very good location, in the centre (just in front of a central metro station, but you could easily go in so many places on foot). Very friendly and helpful staff (spoke english, made you... More

Stayed five nights in Hotel Marvi. Great location just five mins walk from Las Ramblas. Good wifi connection, clean room, very helpful receptionist. As per other reviews the breakfast is basic (coffee, juice, bread, small portion of fruit) but it's better than nothing! Would definitely stay here again.
