Apartment very well equipped. The furnishings were quite simple, but everything else great. Floor cleaning was very poor ... (for the price we paid I expected more, honestly). The wifi was wrong many times. And finally, we loved the location, it is very close to downtown.

Stayed here for 5 nights during our stay in Barcelona late Sept 2014. The apartment has quite modern furnishings and fit out for an old building, with exposed brick walls and beams. The staff were very helpful and spoke perfect English and most importantly there was an elevator. Probably the best feature of these apartments is the location... Borne is... More

I was looking forward to staying here based upon the previous reviews and pictures and it surpassed my expectations! It can't be better located, close to two different rail options. El Born is a fabulous part of the city with all sorts of trendy shops and restaurants. Nearby the apartments is everything you need - groceries, butchers, laundry, etc. The... More

Nice and comfortable apartment which was ideal for our city break. Central location situated next to some nice bars/restaurants. Had a slight problem with the lights during trip and this was resolved quickly. Andrea on reception was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again and found the cost reasonable.

Absolutely gorgeous apartment, I recommend it to my Barcelona bound friends. Clean, stylish, well located, and a fair price. management was professional and lovely to deal with. I have to say it ranks pretty high up on list of places we have stayed! Close to Picasso Museum and Santa Maria Del Mar.

The accommodations are very good. Rooms are very clean. location is close to the beach, but finding this place, even for a seasoned Barcelonean taxi driver, is at best challenging. This hotel is situated on a small narrow street, that's impossible to reach by car, so we had to carry our luggage to the hotel for approx a half a... More

I booked this hotel because it was inexpensive (comparatively) and could accommodate a family of five without requiring me to book more than one room. When we arrived before 9am after disembarking from a cruise, the door was locked and we had to call the number listed. The woman who answered was delightful and assured us that she was on... More

Stayed with my family for a week in the beginning of July. Rooms were clean and spacious and the staff was helpful. Location is excellent: lots of restaurants and bars nearby and beach within walking distance. Will definitely go back!

My husband, teenage daughter and I were traveling together and got a superior studio. It was plenty spacious, with a combined kitchen/dining and living space and adjacent bedroom with additional seating and a king-sized bedroom. The unit also included a full bath with tub, shower and blow dryer and plenty of closet space and a safe. We spent many an... More

Great service, great location, nice appartement and great roof terrasse! We staid there a family of three and it was perfect. Located in the old town the good markets and city squares are in walking distance. The hotel has a very nice roof terrasse which is perfect for a before og aften finner drink. Highly recommendable!

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
