Apartments are located in Borne district near port area. Located in older area with a rustic ambiance. Facilities are good. Free wifi, rooftop terrace. Local supermarket nearby with plenty of restaurants and bars to be found in lots of local laneways. Would stay here again.

Our family of three was comfortable here and appreciated the extra room to move and cooking facilities. If booking be mindful that there is no 24 hour reception. This is self catered accommodation and rooms are not serviced daily. These apartments do not have washing machines. Rooms were appealing but nothing gave it a 'wow' factor. They are air conditioned.... More

We checked in yesterday, the staff were really friendly, the apartment is well kept and has everything that we need. The place is well located, a short walk away from many of the attractions in Barcelna.

Really lovely apartments with a fantastic location - close to La Rambla and the beach. The decor in the apartments was really nice and staff were very helpful. The roof terrace at the hotel is perfect for a few drinks in the evening. Only thing was that the apartment was not cleaned in a 5 night stay so this was... More

My husband, daughter and I spent 5 days in Barcelona, staying in the Borne Apartments. The apartment was great- spacious, stylish, well appointed, nice kitchen and bathroom, quiet and perfectly located on a small street in the pedestrian-only Borne neighborhood. El Borne is a fun neighborhood, with numerous great restaurants, museums (including the Picasso museum), and shopping of all kinds.... More

Lovely simple but really comfortable apartment .. Perfect for two . Easy access to everywhere on foot .. Fabulous restaurants and bars right downstairs in all the little lane ways ... Friendly staff who respond to problems or questions promptly. Would recommend to anyone. Lovely rooftop terrace. Will return.

Myself and my husband stayed here for 2 nights and can't fault them. Fantastic location, about a 10 minute walk from La Rambla and the marina. Staff are lovely and courteous and can't do enough. Apartment is well equipped and spotless. Comfortable and clean bed. We had a slight problem with a leak from the apartment upstairs but it was... More

Apartment very well equipped. The furnishings were quite simple, but everything else great. Floor cleaning was very poor ... (for the price we paid I expected more, honestly). The wifi was wrong many times. And finally, we loved the location, it is very close to downtown.

Stayed here for 5 nights during our stay in Barcelona late Sept 2014. The apartment has quite modern furnishings and fit out for an old building, with exposed brick walls and beams. The staff were very helpful and spoke perfect English and most importantly there was an elevator. Probably the best feature of these apartments is the location... Borne is... More

I was looking forward to staying here based upon the previous reviews and pictures and it surpassed my expectations! It can't be better located, close to two different rail options. El Born is a fabulous part of the city with all sorts of trendy shops and restaurants. Nearby the apartments is everything you need - groceries, butchers, laundry, etc. The... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
