This is a very cheap hotel with a great location, so don't expect great amenities. Generally speaking the room was clean and had some space for 4 persons, the walls are very thin so you have to watch out for the noise or the next room will complain. Overall it's a bargain for it's location and that is why i... More

This hostel is in a central area, 150mt from the Rambla. The room Are very clean and big. The recepitionist Are kind. The breakfast included in The shop next to The hotel. The breakfast included was composed of natuaral orange juice, toaste with jam or croassant and cappuccino. Also The price for The reservation is a little bit cheap.

Stayed as family of four in Quadraple Room. Neat and comfortable Room with clean toilet. Excellent location. Daily market within 2 minutes walking distance where fresh produce (fruits/vegetables etc) come in every morning. Will stay gain whenever next in Barcelona. Lift accommodates only 3 persons at a time and is a manually operated lift but it is OK to ignore.

This is a budget hotel in a perfect location. Walking distance to the train station, and city center is right there. The noise is an issue. I'm used to having noisy hotel rooms, but this was more then I had expected. I always take a white noise machine or fan with me and that helped. I would not recommend staying... More

Booked this through Booking.com under the name of Hotel Inzjarl. Very central hotel in good position, near the famous Barcelona market and La Ramblas. Was very worried when we entered hotel lobby as it looked very scruffy and unkept. However very surprised to find lovely bright clean corridors when inside. My husband and I had booked a room with a... More

The Hotel Aneto is situated perfectly in the center of Barcelona. 2 minutes from Las Ramblas, there is a convenience store litterally next door and La Boqueria market is a 1 minute-walk away. You can also walk to Placa de Catalunya, El Corte Inglès and generally the commercial ward. There is a bus stop on Las Ramblas just next to... More

Recently stayed for 3 nights and we were very happy that we chose this hotel. The rooms are basic but clean and adequate for our purposes as we spent most of the time sightseeing. The hotel staff are friendly and the location is fantastic. Lots of great restaurants and bars close by. I would recommend this hotel to those who... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
