Just returned from a 4 night stay which couldn't have been better! Great budget hotel in an unbeatable location being a 2 minute stroll from Las Ramblas, Boqueria and the Metro/Aerobus links to the Airport. Very clean comfortable and secure with good 24hr Reception and friendly staff. Rooms have TV, Safety Deposit Box, Wifi (not too great in our room... More

If you want a cheap stay in the center of Barcelona you're at the right place. The hotel is a 200 metres from la rambla. The breakfast is at the bakery next door. You get a fresh orangejuice, a coffee or tea and 2 croissants or toasts. The rooms are clean and although not that big, really comfortable.

My partner and I stayed here in August this year. I had booked months previously and as I offered to pay in full upfront we were promised a room at the front with a balcony. When we got to our room we realised this wasn't the room we expected so when we spoke to the manager and showed him the... More

First of all let me give you the positives - it won't take long. The Hotel Aneto is perfectly situated within spitting distance of La Ramblas, the main artery of tourism in Barcelona. Secondly it's very affordable, and thirdly the rooms are cleaned regularly - albeit in the mid evening. Sounds good doesn't it? When we arrived - half an... More

This hotel is of course nothing bling bling, but for this cheapest price you can be very well situated next to the Ramblas, but enough far not to hear so much outside noise, it is clean and you have the wifi, a bathroom inside the room and the air-condition. If I go back to Barcelona, I would go there again.... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
