My mother and I spent 4 nights here in May. It is about as central as you can get. We walked everywhere. The staff was wonderful and provided us excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The best part about this hotel is the price. You won't find a better hotel for this price. They... More

We stayed at Hotel Constanza for a week in room 113 - which had a large terrace and small sitting area w a couch and desk. The room was on the quiet side of the hotel - very quiet at night. All amenities were modern, clean and had a comfortable bed. The front desk staff were very helpful w restaurant... More

After spending ten days last fall, I was intending to write a fulsome review of an excellent small hotel. The only shortcoming was the breakfast which was very ordinary with mediocre coffee. Why only two stars? The answer surprised me,. To advance beyond two stars, you need a separate entrance for staff. It's a bureaucratic thing and no quality of... More

This is a wonderful little hotel that should be more than 2 stars. Rooms spacious, modern, clean, comfortable and nice. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Location was great for all sights and parts of Barcelona. Recommend it for a weekend stay in Barcelona

This hotel is just OK. The location is OK, close enough to walk to stuff, but nothing exciting around it. Tastefully decorated and very clean. Nice size room, nice bathroom, shower. Large terrace, but had to keep doors closed due to constant, loud construction noise from next door building being refurbished. Could hear the person in the next room snoring.... More

The people from the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and clean. The beds are good. It's in a perfect neighbourhood near Placa Catalunya and Ramblas. Walking distance of most cultural spots. Much better than 2 stars.

Great hotel with friendly staff. Good location with Placa de Catalonya only three blocks away (City hub) Clean and nice rooms, but there is small signs of wear and tear The walls are a bit thin, so this can bring a smile on your face ore cause frustration We only heard others once Love free WiFi, the big rooms and... This hotel is 2 star I believe, but very few changes could make it at least 4 star. Coffee and tea facilities, and better pillows and bigger towels! Very clean and comfortable and we had a nice room at the rear with a terrace. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location great - walking distance to La Rambla and great shopping.... More

Hotel Constanza is a small modern hotel perfectly located for the visitor who wants to explore Barcelona and it is just a few minutes walk to Catalyna Square which is a focal point from which you can explore the city. The transport, both buses and the Metro are easily accessible and using a T10 ticket the fares are good value.... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
