This was our first time in Barcelona and both my wife and I have fallen in love with a wonderful city. When I booked the Constanza I had some queries which I emailed to the Hotel. Within a very short time I got replies back from the hotel and so therefore communication was excellent. When we arrived at our hotel... More

Nice comfy bed and spacious room, with terrace. Unfortunately, very noisy with people showering and talking early morning and slamming of doors and elevator through the night. Paper thin walls. Reception friendly and helpful and easy access on foot to city centre. However, if you want to be in the heart of Barcelona, you need to be closer as for... More

I booked a trip to Barcelona with my girlfriend for Valentine's and was lucky enough to find this amazing little hotel online. Location wise it is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city and a 5 minute walk from Les Rambles which is a great place to start looking around! The rooms are great and if you can,... A fab hotel I would definitely stay in again. We were upgraded to a superior room which was a bonus. The bed was huge. I didn't notice till the morning but it was two beds together with two separate duvets but actually that was a bonus! We had a balcony too which would be nice in the Summer or if... More

This is a really friendly and comfortable hotel in a quiet road in the heart of Barcelona within easy access to all the delights of the city. The staff are charming and the rooms really comfortable. There's a restaurant attached which serves great food as well. Thoroughly reccommended.

The double room was fine and the bathroom had a very large and modern shower. The location and noise level were good. The only problem was the time at which the hotel starts serving breakfast: not until 8.30 am on Saturday mornings, which is no good if you have a conference starting at 9.00 am. A very late start. The... More

I stayed for several days in a single room. The room was small, but quite big enough for a single really given I wasn't there to sit in the room, but to get out and see the city. Also very nice foyer area in the hotel with lots of couches, TV, etc, where you could go and sit if you... More

Great location. Comfortable and clean rooms. Great value. Staff was friendly, mostly helpful but on occasion had a problem communicating with us in English. We were "upgraded" but our room's balcony was on the first floor so it wasn't the greatest upgrade! Great restaurant next door. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel is fantastic - it's close to almost everything (walking distance) but it's not located right in the tiny streets of old town so it's the perfect distance away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the old town area. We were quite happy with the breakfast buffet the hotel served every morning, the coffee... More

Found this hotel from Trip Advisor and it was excellent! The room was clean and spacious for the 2 of us, and the staff at the front desk was very helpful. Good location, as it is walking distance to Passeig de Garcia and La Ramblas. Will definitely stay here again if I return to Barcelona - love the city and... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
