I have stayed at Hotel Constanza for a few times and always had a great stay. The hotel is situated in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, at a walking distance from all the major attractions. The rooms are tastefully decorated with quality furnishings. The entrance has a grand lobby and the breakfast has a good spread. The staff is polite... More

The hotel is very central, the staff is very helpful and it has also a nice ambiance. I am surprised this is listed as a 2 star hotel. In my opinion it should be upgraded to 3. Moreover, the room was super comfortable and clean.

helpful and kind reception staff Elegant bedroom with very nice on suite bathroom and access to a small planted terrace. As it was a January birthday visit it was a little used facility! The adjoining Papas bar was under seperate management and was truly awful with surly staff and unpleasant fod.

We couldnt believe this was only a 2 star hotel? We have stayed in 3 star hotels that are so far worse than this hotel! (i.e. best western hotel opera d'antin paris) We were very happy to see how big our rooms were and how everything was so modern and clean! Spacious elevators. Located near passei de gracia, for the... More

The staff was excellent and the rooms were ok , it was an average hotel, we only need a place to lay our heads for the night so it did the job ok. Rooms were clean and had a nice little balcony. Toilets were clean as well, overall not a bad stay. The people of Spain a pretty friendly anywhere... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here on a weekend away exploring Barcelona and everything it has to offer. We went for a winter break in December 2015, but couldn't believe how warm the city is! We arrived earlier from the airport than anticipated, after travelling on the A2 bus from the airport. The front desk didn't even query the time,... More

Front desk was very helpful. We arrived having taken a taxi straight from the airport. We were earlier, but they still allowed us to check in to our room. Our room was towards the back of the hotel and I thought very quiet except for one bit of noise around midnight from another building in the back... but it was... More

Location of the Hotel is very convenient, close to metro and Plaza Catalonia. Room was large, with plenty of space for luggage and nice comfy beds, but bare in terms of decoration and in rather somber colours. Staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. We did not try breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on food, but... More

My sister and I stayed here after our cruise. We were greated by Samuel who was very kind in answering all our questions and giving us great directions. The room was large with a separate sitting room and large terrace. It was within walking distance to Las Ramblas and we walked the street which leads right to the port- but... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
