An old hotel on the 2nd floor in a neglected residential building. The corridor is in a U-form, and the 'office' is in the middle. You can hear in every room every phone call, all the rings from guests at the intercom, the loud discussions of the staff day and night and it's impossible to sleep. A real nightmare. They... More

Dear customer, First of all, we give thanks for expressing your opinion in this medium. We regret that the hotel was not to your expectations. It is a simple 1-star hotel renovated 1 year ago. We take note of your comments in order to improve. Best regards Elia Buen More

Stayed for a week with my three friends. We had two twin rooms which luckily had windows (I'd read earlier that some rooms didn't). I was really impressed, the rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels and clean sheets. The rooms themselves are a decent size, and quite old but that was to be expected with how old the... Its on a floor with many other rooms. Rooms are really small with old furniture. Window is decorative since it looks to a wall and no light comes in. We stayed right opposite the door and the intercom which sounded too loud, was buzzing all night long because people wanted to get into the hotel. Stuff doesn't speak English but... More

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighborhood Profile
Barceloneta
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
