My boyfriend and I stayed here after staying in hotels elsewhere in Europe, and picked a private room in Barcelona so we could retain the privacy but also take advantage of the social scene and fun of a hostel. Granted, we did not come here totally looking to hang out 24/7 with other travelers or use all the amenities, but... More

We spent a nite at the MH and it is a nice and clean hotel, with a good average price considering Bcn. The Room is small but confortable, double bed and shared but clean bathroom. The whole should get a 4 stars easly but I put 3 for the freezing air conditioned that made us sleep with the heavy blanket.... More

The hostel is really great! You get your own lockers, shower with music from the reception and during our stay there was a cook every day. Who cooked some really great paella for only 6 euro! They also organise pubcrawls which other hostels which i really recommend because its a cheaper entree fee and you are allowed to skip big... More

Overall, this hostel was okay. I stayed with a friend in a 2 person private room. The room was decently clean (the sheets were a little questionable), and the bathroom was clean as well. The staff here are super friendly and provide you with a great map of the city in which they outline places to go and explain the... More

The hostel is nice and it's in walking distance from most of the Barca sites one wants to see. Above all the personnel are all amazing people, they helped us everytime we needed information of all sorts. They organize outings every night to cool bars and clubs afterwards which are very entertaining especially to solo travelers that are looking to... More

It was a good hostel, bit expensive given I have to share with room with 7 other people and breakfast was not included. Very close to city centre, and easily accessible from airport by train. The Barcelona free walking tour guys also pick up from hostel, which is good.

They have a great staff and an amazing walking tour! The room was gross though, mucus stained on the side of the top bunk, and super tiny room! I think it should be cheaper, but it's a great location with lovely staff! The wifi SUCKS.

We booked a private room for five days, room was nice, tidy a d cozy. We felt very welcomed. The stuff was friendly and helpful, dinner was awesome, just as like the atmosphere itself. Also the location is very good. I will surely recommend to pay a visit in there!

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
