Though I've been there just once, and couple years ago I honestly recommend it. The staff there speaks very nice English, they can give you awesome advise where to go and what to eat for a decent price! Rooms are very nice and cozy, with cute paintings of the sea world (whale!) Place is located in a perfect neighborhood, with... More

Great place to stay in for 1st time in Barcelona! Very clean dorms, washrooms and showers very clean each floor had a common room as well as wifi was fast and for those who needed a computer there were computers on sight to use as well. They offered free walking tours of Barcelona city, our guide was great in showing... More

Very well located right beside Girona metro stop. Walking distance to the main hustle and bustle but if you want a very good experience, as reccomended by Maria on the main desk, head north of Ave Diagonal. Some great bars for very affordable food and drink that is frequented by the Barcelonians. We stayed in a 6th floor private room... More

We stayed for 4 nights in a double room with en suite. It was like staying in a small hotel. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. We also had access to a kitchen (along with 2 other rooms in the section). It's a bit out of the centre, but it was so cheap that we didn't mind.... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with a few friends and absolutely loved it! The people who work here are so friendly and will literally help you with anything (even opening bottles of wine with a screw) You can get a taste of Spain because different members of the staff cook family dinner style every night and for only 5 euros... Stayed in a private double bed room on the top floor with en suite. It was done in an apartment style, with a kitchen with cooking equipment that we shared with another couple on the same floor. Also spare bathrooms etc. Amazing view of cathedral from window. Really really convenient location, super friendly staff who offered to show us around... More

Stayed @ this hostel last week. Booked a private double room and ended up staying next door to the hostel in what seemed like a resedential apartment block. Was sometimes noisy at night with the room next to us but not enough to be annoyed about. Location was good, 2min walk to Girona metro and handy to Rambla & Passeig... More

The rooms and the accommodations were clean, the staff were very friendly and there was a nice variety of common areas. I had a nice stay here and would certainly come back on my next visit to Barcelona.

I stayed here for a few nights this summer for Primavera festival. The hostel has a great location, but that is the only positive. The walls are paper thin and we could hear the conversations/coughs/phones of the group in the room next door. There was only one toilet/shower for our whole floor. The toilet and shower are not in separate... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
