All the staff were helpful, professional and eager to assist us - particularly Jonatan, Isabel, and the rest of the Reception, housekeeping and breakfast room staff. The good points were: the room was very clean, the wifi was excellent, the breakfast choices were OK, and the breakfast items were replenished continually. The bathroom was a good size and the toiletries... More

Well located hotel near La Ramblas and hop on hop off buses, restaurants and shopping.the hotel is pristine ,modern decor, our room was small, but adequate . The breakfast is delicious lots to choose from. They have a nice rooftop patio where you can sit with a drink and look at the skyline.

A very good hotel in a prime location for visiting Barcelona. We arrived late in the evening to a very warm and efficient welcome at the check in (and a complimentary bottle of cava in the room!). We had booked a Standard room which is larger than the Basic.....a good choice. The room was very stylish and very clean with... More

This is a good hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The original room we were allocated is fine for a short stay but as we were staying a week we asked the reception if we could change. They agreed to the change and gave us a large front facing room for the weeks stay. The breakfast was very... More

Title of the review says it all..... Spotlessly clean large room with a big walk in shower. A bit of traffic noise but it was on the main road so we fully expected that. Great rooftop bar which is a real suntrap and the drinks there were reasonably priced. Location is everything with this hotel. It really couldn't have been... More

The hotel is just 3 minutes' walk from Plaza de Catalunya, a block away from the Apple Store, and 2 minutes' walk to the Metro. So the place is convenient. The front office lobby is small and it is important that the front desk staff work efficiently to get guests checked-in or checked-out fast. And the front desk people are... More

Rooms are as you'd expect, comfy, big enough, AC etc but nothing special. We had rooms at the back as we'd asked for a quiet location, we overlooked a car park, the walls are quite thin and when it rained the noise of it hitting the windowsills was like a drumroll! That said the location was brilliant, just off Placa... More

Myself and my husband had a long weekend in Barcelona, we stayed with the H10 Universitat hotel. It was perfect, we were within walking distance of everything! The Airport bus stops within a minute walk of the hotel, there is the city bus tours right outside, there are a couple of fabulous restaurants in the area and all major attractions... More

Although the rooms are indeed very small they are clean and efficient. We stayed for 3 days and we spent most of our time out exploring. The beds are comfortable the temperature control can become a problem on very hot days as the air conditioning is a bit slow. Nevertheless, during our stay it wasn't a problem. The shower was... Great hotel in the central area of Barcelona. Room was spotless and well above average for a hotel on this budget. Great breakfasts and nice bar area to relax in. Free wi-fi throughout the hotel. Staff very helpful, cheerful and pleasant. Easy walk to resturants, metro and sights.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
