I loved the location and the welcoming from all the staff. They were all attentive and learned my name. The common room is inviting and we'll laid out. The kitchen had plenty of space and even had knives that cut. The beds were comfortable and quiet. Thanks Sara and staff for the great stay.

This place was awesome! The staff were very friendly and always helped out as much as they could with my questions regarding the city of Barcelona. The venue was nice, and the rooms were very tidy. I stayed in patchwork and that room came with its own bathroom which was also very clean. I felt very comfortable in this place... More

I love the decorations at this place!! it's clear that the owners know what they are doing, it's really safe and clean, rooms are in good condition, the location is great. I like the idea that the dormitory are at the difret floor so if there is any party down stairs no one disturb yourself. It's a obviously that I... More

I just can't say enough about this place. The hostel decorations were absolutely fabulous and exceptional. Staff was super helpful and welcoming. They organize something every night so it's nice if you're travelling alone and want to meet people. Large common spaces, clean and comfy. Perfecto!

Such an awesome place in the heart of Barcelona. I really loved the decor and vibe. The staff was extremely friendly and patient in explaining everything to me. Rooms are nice, clean and have big lockers for your valuables. Huge terrace, perfect for sun tanning and relaxing breakfast. 'll be back for sure!

Wow this hostel must have a great interior designer they hired or something. Its like your stepping back into the 1800's when you enter it - vintage decorations (phones, fabrics, etc) - but it is very nice. I've met some amazing friends here and enjoyed myself while doing so. The kitchen was very well-kept and useful for saving money and... More

Management was great--the entire staff is very friendly. We felt immediately comfortable here! Dorms are separated from the kitchen/socializing area downstairs so if you'd rather go to bed you can have peace and quiet--otherwise there were always plenty of fun people around to hang out with and the hostel did a great job of promoting and organizing activities. Lockers were... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
